With WWE bringing the NXT brand to Madison Square Garden for its Gold Rush special, Joe Hendry has lent his unique abilities with a music video.
Recounting an incident on the 11/4 edition of NXT that saw Ethan Page and Chelsea Green receive pies to the face courtesy of Thea Hail, the “American Pie” parody also makes reference to Chelsea’s husband Matt Cardona, who recently appeared on the brand representing TNA.
Hendry and Hail will challenge Page and Green for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship as part of the two-part special event, which sees title matches representing NXT, AAA, TNA, and EVOLVE.
NXT Gold Rush takes place Tuesday, November 18 from The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with the special airing across two weeks on CW.
