CMLL World Trios Championship Match: Mistico, Mascara Dorada and Neon defend against Kazuchika Okada, Hechicero and Konosuke Takeshita
The chaos continues until Takeshita is left alone in the ring, and Okada’s music hits as the Rainmaker finally makes it to the show, getting quite the pop as he heads to the ring (yes, a full entrance going on during the match). He takes his robe off as Mascara Dorada rolls up Takeshita for a two count…but the Alpha sends him out of the ring before he and Okada stare each other down.
Hechicero tries to defuse the situation, but Okada flips of Takeshita…but this is interrupted by the Sky Team, who get the advantage! Dorada and Neon climb the turnbuckles but are intercepted by Okada and Takeshita. In the midst of this we see Mistico making his return to the ring after being checked on from earlier, landing a tiger feint kick on Takeshita before taking the Alpha and the Rainmaker out with a cross body off the ropes!
He sends Takeshita out of the ring before sending Okada down with an arm drag, but the Rainmaker leaves the ring allowing Hechicero to get in the match per CMLL rules. He and Mistico go at it until Mistico sends him to the outside, where Hechicero lands on the announce desk. Takeshita goes after him but nearly gets locked into La Mistica before Okada breaks it up. Mistico breaks free and Okada starts laying into Takeshita instead, sending him out of the ring to focus on Mistico…but in comes Neon instead, sending the Rainmaker away! Takeshita comes back in and blocks a headscissors, leading to a wheelbarrow suplex sending the luchador down hard.
Takeshita looks to finish things here, but Okada goes for a suplex that the Alpha stops. This leads to the two arguing until Dorada comes in, and Okada goes for a Rainmaker lariat…only to lay out Takeshita instead! Okada smiles, clearly happy to take the Alpha out of action…but this allows the Sky Team to take control instead, leading to a pair of dives that clears the ring sans Mistico and Hechicero. Mistico counters his contemporary, getting a two count in the process. Hechicero scrambles to the ropes, opening himself up to a tiger feint kick by Mistico for another nearfall.
Mistico heads to the corner, but is intercepted by Hechicero who looks for a powerbomb…but Mistico counters with a headscissors, followed by a La Mistica that forces Hechicero to tap out as we see Takeshita being held back by Neon!
Winners via pinfall and still CMLL World Trios Champions: Sky Team (Mistico, Mascara Dorada and Neon)
The champs celebrate as we see Okada trying not to get into it with Takeshita on the ramp.
Video Package: PAC challenged Darby Allin to a “straight up wrestling match” after the chaos of Blood & Guts, and we will see that match tonight at Full Gear!
We head back to ringside as PAC makes his way to the ring through the crowd for our first official match of the night. We’re then treated to a video of a recovering Darby Allin watching back footage of PAC’s return at All Out and the subsequent beatings he’s dealt the former TNT Champion. A now unwrapped Darby gets out of the hospital bed, beating the TV up with a baseball bat as we cut back to ringside for Darby’s entrance. He enters the ring, heavily bandaged as the bell rings to get this match underway!
PAC vs. Darby Allin
After a moment’s pause we see the two men lock up, with Darby getting a waistlock before PAC breaks free…only to be taken to the mat by the former TNT Champion. PAC fights to his feet as he tries to escape a wristlock, but Darby gets a Magistral for a two count. He lands an arm drag and holds onto the arm and shoulder, but PAC is back up sending him to the corner to force a break…and Darby responds by sending him into the corner hard, forcing PAC to retreat outside for a breather.
PAC takes his time getting back in the ring, and Darby takes him off his game with a series of nearfalls as a result. Side headlock by Allin, and just as PAC starts to get back up he gets sent to the canvas with a takedown. PAC manages to counter out of this finally, locking in a headscissors until Darby breaks free for a modified Scorpion Deathlock…but PAC gets to the ropes to force a break. The fight ends up on the apron, where PAC lands an elbow shot before hoisting Darby up for a press slam to the floor!
Darby is struggling hard as the ref begins the count, reaching eight when Darby finally gets to his feet and onto the apron. He barely gets into the ring when PAC stomps away at him, pulling the bandages off Darby’s arm before attacking the burned areas for added damage. Darby goes to the ropes looking to get back up, but this allows PAC to go after him some more before pulling him into the middle rope and getting a nearfall.
Darby slowly gets up in the corner, before PAC pulls him for a hammer throw into the ring post…and the impact sends him all the way out to the floor! Darby is given little time to recover as PAC comes out to bring him into the ring once more, dropping him hard for the cover but only getting a two count. He brings Darby to his feet as the crowd chant “you can’t kill him”…and this fires up the former TNT Champion as he starts swinging away at PAC, forcing him to the outside.
He uses the ring apron to get some shots in, and then hits a dive sending PAC into the barricade. He sets PAC up on a chair before climbing the nearest turnbuckle…and drops down for a massive missile dropkick, sending PAC to the floor once more! He brings PAC back into the ring, and PAC tries to fight back only to get caught in a guillotine by Allin. PAC brings himself to his feet, trying to counter out before Darby breaks free to hit the ropes…and gets taken down with a German suplex by PAC. Darby is back up, charging at PAC in the corner…and gets taken to the turnbuckle with a belly to belly suplex instead!
PAC turns back around to go after him, but Darby shoots back with a lariat before going to the ropes for a Coffin Drop that gets blocked by PAC…who then hits the ropes for a lariat of his own! Cover by PAC, but Darby kicks out…only for PAC to lock in the Brutalizer! Darby is not one to give up so easily, scrambling like crazy to finally reach the bottom rope with his foot to force a break as the crowd chants “this is awesome” in response.
PAC brings the former TNT Champion back to his feet and into the corner, messing around with the turnbuckle pad before landing some hard boots to the face of Darby before climbing up for a Black Arrow…but Darby rolls away, catching PAC in a Scorpion Deathlock instead! It looks like PAC might tap out, but instead he seems to be motioning to someone…and we see Wheeler Yuta running around the ring.
He distracts the ref and Darby as we see a baseball bat in the ring (presumably thanks to Yuta), and PAC lays out Darby with the bat, tossing it out before getting the pinfall win.
Winner via pinfall: PAC
Video Package: The tournament to crown the first-ever Women’s Tag Team Champions takes a turn as the semifinalists face off in a 4-Way Tag Match at Full Gear to see who gets to name the stipulation for their semifinal match!
We head back to ringside as the Sisters of Sin are accompanied by Thekla to the ring for our next match. This is followed by Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir, before the Babes of Wrath head out to a nice pop from the crowd. Rounding out the competitors are the Timeless Love Bombs, who head to the ring to a very nice pop before this match gets underway!
4-Way Tag Match (Winning Team Picks AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Tournament Semifinal Match Stipulation): Timeless Love Bombs (“Timeless” Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa) vs. Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale) vs. Sisters of Sin (Skye Blue and Julia Hart) vs. Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir
Storm goes after Shafir as the ring otherwise clears out, and these are the two starting this match off as the ringside brawl finally calms down. Shafir takes control, sending Toni to her corner for a tag by Bayne as they gang up on the former Women’s World Champion. Bayne continues to lay into Storm, until Toni fights back for a tag to Mina. Double-team keeps the Megasus down before Mina gets sent to the corner by Bayne. Mina fights back with a kick before going for a cross body, but gets slammed to the mat for a nearfall by Megan.
Tag made to Marina, who drags the face of Shirakawa along the ring before sending her to the opposite side…but Skye Blue gets a blind tag to get into the match herself, pulling Mina to the middle of the ring for a two count. Mina fights back, hitting a Sling Blade before looking for a tag to Toni…but Julia Hart pulls Storm away! Mina opts for a tag to Willow Nightingale instead, who lays into Skye before tagging in Harley for a double-team.
Wheelbarrow slam allows Cameron to get a two count, but Blue gets back at her with some shots before the two trade strikes. Backstabber by Harley is canceled out as Skye sends her to the corner for a tag to Hart. A few strikes by Harley ends with her going after Shafir, as Skye knocks down Bayne as well. Hart gets a nearfall before Bayne tags herself in, going after Skye before turning her attention back to Harley.
She sends Cameron to the corner for some more damage as we see Storm and Mina dealing with Skye and Hart on the outside. Back in the ring, Shafir gets a tag for some shots of her own, before Megan tags right back in. Cameron starts to fight back, landing a headscissors into a DDT sending the Megasus into the mat. In comes Shafir off a tag, but she is kicked away before Willow gets the tag as well. She sends Marina to the corner for a hip attack before driving The Problem to the mat for a nearfall.
Shafir gets tagged out by Hart who goes after Willow, only to be sent down for a cover as Blue and Bayne break it up. Mina gets the tag now, going after Hart before Megan tags herself in for a clothesline on Julia and then a fireman’s carry on Mina. Tag made to Shafir, who traps Mina in the Mother’s Milk as Storm is fended off…but she’s able to break away to stop the hold! Tag made to Storm, who goes after Shafir until she gets sent to the ropes. Blind tag by Harley as Storm drops Shafir for a Lou Thesz press…and Toni gets to her feet just as Harley drops her with a cross body for a two count!
Sisters of Sin get involved for a double-team on Storm, before they’re sent to the mat with a double German suplex by Bayne…who takes a pounce by Willow for her troubles! Shafir gets involved but is sent to the outside, where they take a cannonball by Willow off the apron…and it’s followed by a dive from Mina! Harley rolls up Storm for a two count, and it leads to an exchange of nearfalls…until Toni cinches in the Big Package on Cameron!
Winners via pinfall: Timeless Love Bombs
The pair celebrate as we cut to…
Video Package: FTR looks to take down Brodido and win the AEW World Tag Team Championship tonight at Full Gear!
We get “A Big Stoke Production” showcasing Hathaway’s hatred for Brodido before heading back to ringside as FTR make their entrance for our next match. Speaking of, the champs make their way out next to a nice pop before we get this match underway!
AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) defend against FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler)
We start off with Cash Wheeler and Bandido, who exchange offense before standing off amidst a “no hoes” chant directed at Stokely. Bandido takes Wheeler down with an arm drag, keeping him off his game with a couple more for good measure before laying him out. Dax comes in but to no avail, before Brody King makes the tag. Dax tags in as well as we get a standoff between them, before they trade strikes.
Dax takes the brunt of this, as he’s sent to the corner. He hits a boot on Brody but ends up being sent out of the ring, where Dax takes a hard chop against the barricade. Wheeler gets caught trying to sneak up on him, before King lands another hard chop on Harwood to bring him back into the ring for a nearfall.
Tag made to Bandido for a double-team…which sees Bandido hoist King onto Harwood! Dax rolls out of the ring as Bandido starts to do the Macararena, trying to get King to join on. He refuses as Bandido sees FTR on the outside, diving over Stoke…only for FTR to catch him and slam him onto the announce table. They bring Bandido back into the ring as the crowd tries to get under Stoke’s skin some more, and a tag is made to Harwood after some shots from Cash. Dax has Bandido in a Gory Special, a nod to the legacy of lucha libre as Bandido tries to break free…and he finally does, eventually taking FTR down to the mat!
Cash rolls out of the ring, trying to keep Brody away from a tag only to get knocked off the apron…but the ref is too distracted to see the tag made by Bandido, allowing FTR to take advantage as the crowd lets the ref know how they feel. Bandido manages to fend off Dax and breaks away from Wheeler for the tag to Brody, who lays out Dax with a clothesline before sending Wheeler down to the mat. He also sends Harwood down, colliding with Wheeler before sending them to opposite corners for a set of clotheslines.
Wheeler gets onto the shoulders of King looking to fight him off, but that ends with him being slammed into Harwood in the corner before Brody runs at them with a cannonball. Cover by Brody only gets a two as Cash kicks out.
Bandido comes in for an assist but is sent out of the ring by Harwood, allowing FTR to set King up on the top turnbuckle. Superplex by Harwood, but no Power & Glory here as Brody grabs the throat of Wheeler while Bandido lands a splash on Dax. King ends up sending FTR out of the ring before tagging in Bandido.
King goes for a dive on Harwood, but Stokely pushes him out of the way and King gets a glancing blow on Hathaway before crashing to the floor! Back in the ring, Bandido gets a nearfall on Harwood before Wheeler comes in. Bandido dodges a Shatter Machine, but takes the Power & Glory as Dax covers…but Bandido kicks out at two!
Bandido gets away from another double-team, sending Harwood out of the ring before landing a press slam sending Wheeler onto Dax on the outside. Bandido climbs up top and hits a cross body sending FTR to the floor. Bandido brings Dax back into the ring as Wheeler comes in looking to land a Shatter Machine, but Bandido manages to get out of it. He looks for a 21 Plex on Dax but Wheeler helps him block it before they land the Shatter Machine. Dax makes the cover, but Brody narrowly breaks the pin to save the match.
Brody and Wheeler end up on the outside where Cash narrowly dodges a cannonball, forcing King to crash into the barricade. He grabs one of the tag belts to bring into the ring, but Brody grabs it to keep him from using it. Bandido rolls up Harwood, but is sent into a belt shot just out of sight from the ref. Dax with the cover but Bandido kicks out again, and Brodido land a Shatter Machine of their own off a tag to King…but Harwood is the one who kicks out at two this time!
FTR take control now, looking for a Doomsday Device on Bandido…who counters into a powerslam on Wheeler! Harwood is held back by King as Bandido covers, but still only gets a two count for his effort. Dax goes after King, managing to pull him away and set King up for a stuffed piledriver onto the hardest part of the ring.
FTR turn their attention back to Bandido, setting him up for a stuffed piledriver as well, but the ROH World Champion refuses to give up as he gets a shoulder up in the nick of time. He looks wobbly as he gets back to his feet, and FTR take advantage as they hit a final Shatter Machine for the win!
Winners via pinfall and new AEW World Tag Team Champions: FTR
FTR celebrates as we cut away.
Video Package: With the crowning of the inaugural AEW National Champion upon us, we focus on Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin earning the first and second spots in the Casino Gauntlet Match tonight at Full Gear!
Back at ringside, the Hurt Syndicate make their way out for a shared entrance since Lashley and Benjamin are the first two competitors in this match. They head to the ring as we get a good look at the National Championship (looking a lot like the old NWA Television Title of back in the day) as the bell rings to get this match underway!
Casino Gauntlet Match to crown the inaugural AEW National Champion
The two start going at it, not letting up too much with an exchange of holds as we already get a countdown for our next participant…Ricochet!
He has a microphone, saying we don’t want to see “wrestling crap” as GOA blindside the two men in the ring! Ricochet goes after MVP with the microphone, asking AJ (Big Justice) if he’s watching as he lets out a few “BOOM” remarks with each mic shot on the head of MVP. GOA continue to lay waste to the Hurt Syndicate, with Bobby getting his head slammed against the ring steps by Liona as Ricochet mocks him from inside the ring.
Officials rush down to get GOA out of here, also accompanying MVP to the back as Ricochet celebrates with some dance moves while the countdown reveals our next participant…Claudio Castagnoli!
Ricochet stops in his tracks as Claudio makes his entrance through the crowd. Ricochet tries to get the drop on Castagnoli, but takes an uppercut instead before Claudio brings him back into the ring for a giant swing. Cover by Claudio, but Ricochet manages to kick out at two. Crowd starts chanting “we bald people” at the two men as they go back at it, with Claudio sent out of the ring as the countdown reveals the next participant…Daniel Garcia!
Garcia makes his way through the crowd next, laying into Ricochet as the crowd rightly points out that “he’s not bald.” This leads to the Death Riders going to work on Ricochet in the corner until the countdown reveals our next competitor…Orange Cassidy!
Garcia still has the waistlock on Ricochet on the turnbuckle as Cassidy heads over…licking his hand to “bip” Ricochet on the head, and Garcia takes Ricochet down to the mat. Cassidy tries to take advantage for a cover, but Claudio pulls him up by the jeans before slamming him to the mat. Cassidy tries to fight back for a sunset flip, but we get an Aloha Claudio and a denial…only for Orange to land a Stundog Millionaire on a returning Ricochet! He goes for the cover as the countdown reveals our next participant…Wheeler Yuta!
Claudio kicks out as Cassidy turns his attention to his former Best Friend. This leads to a 3-on-1 beatdown by the Death Riders until the countdown brings out…Kevin Knight!
He runs down the ramp to take out Garcia and Yuta, but gets caught coming into the ring by Claudio. Castagnoli goes for a powerbomb but gets sent over the top rope by Knight. Ricochet sees an opening and rolls Kevin up for a nearfall, and Knight follows suit looking for a pin of his own to no avail as the countdown reveals our next competitor…Roderick Strong!
Strong goes after Garcia and Yuta on his way to the ring, fending off Claudio before turning his attention to Ricochet with a pair of backbreakers. Sick Kick connects on Ricochet, and Roderick makes the cover as the countdown brings out…Mark Davis!
The ring is cleared out, allowing Davis to go after Strong until Garcia and Yuta come in. He fends them off before landing some hard shots on Strong and Knight. Ricochet tries to take him off his game but takes a driver by Davis, who dodges a PK by Cassidy to drop OC with a driver as well! Cover by Davis, but Yuta breaks the pin as the countdown gives us…“Speedball” Mike Bailey!
Bailey goes after Davis, and he and Knight take him down before attempting a double cover. This leads to an awkward staredown between JetSpeed, allowing Davis to intervene before he’s sent out of the ring. JetSpeed collides as they trade offense and nearfalls. Knight manages to Matrix dodge a superkick, and the pause there allows Garcia to send Kevin out before dropping Bailey for a Dragonslayer as the countdown reveals our next participant…“Daddy Magic” Matt Menard!
Garcia looks like he’s seen a ghost, breaking the hold to deal with Menard who sends Garcia out of the ring. Garcia escapes through the crowd as Menard chases him down. The ring is left with Mark Davis and Claudio Castagnoli, the latter looking not too amused that he’s left alone as we see Lashley and Benjamin finally making their return to the match.
Crowd chants “we hurt people” as the Syndicate obliges, putting the hurt on Davis and Strong. Yuta comes in and takes a spear as well, and Lashley even catches OC in mid-air for a powerslam. Speedball tries to get in but gets sent to the outside, as Ricochet goes into the ring only to realize he’s made a huge mistake. Lashley and Benjamin toss him around with ease, laying into Ricochet until Davis and Claudio finally put a stop to it.
Cassidy comes in now, landing an Orange Punch before the ring gets cleared out. Lashley gets sent into the barricade as Yuta steals the thunder of Cassidy, trying to get a pin before Knight breaks it up. He hits a UFO Splash on Cassidy, but gets pushed away for a Spirit Gun by Ricochet for the pin and the win!
Winner via pinfall and the inaugural AEW National Champion: Ricochet
GOA joins Ricochet in the ring, helping him up the ramp as he celebrates and takes the new title belt.
Video Package: The issues between Jon Moxley and Kyle O’Reilly have been building up for a while as we see Mox surrendering at Blood & Guts, but tonight things come to a head and there will be No Holds Barred here at Full Gear!
Back at ringside, Jon Moxley makes his way through the crowd for our next match. Kyle O’Reilly makes his entrance, only to go right after Mox to get this match underway!
No Holds Barred Match: Jon Moxley vs. Kyle O’Reilly
O’Reilly lays into Mox as he looks for a hold on the arm, but Jon breaks free to fight back. Both men are on their feet as Mox offers a “free shot” to O’Reilly…and Kyle makes him pay for it, sending the former World Champion to the corner for some hard kicks. They end up trading normally illegal holds, until Kyle forces Mox down to the mat for an ankle lock…but Mox breaks free to take a breather on the outside.
Marina convenes with him, offering a fork to give Mox an edge as he comes back into the ring…but O’Reilly does his best to fend off the attack, only to be sent to the mat. Mox manages to move the hand away long enough to start jabbing at the face of Kyle, who turns to his stomach…and this allows Mox to attack the back instead!
The ref starts to intervene, which makes Mox confront him with a reminder that anything goes. We see Kyle is busted open as Mox goes back after him, eventually taking a bite out of O’Reilly as the ref checks to see if Kyle gives up. He does not, as Mox pulls him away from the ropes to go after his arm.
As he continues to pull back on Kyle’s arm he takes a bite out of his free hand. He continues the damage with some toe kicks…but Kyle manages to fight back, leading to an ankle lock. Mox tries to break free as O’Reilly transitions to a facelock, and he sends Kyle to the mat with a back suplex. He grabs the fork again, targeting the…nipple…of O’Reilly against the ropes. He breaks away just long enough to set up a choke hold on the ropes, keeping Kyle’s arms trapped on the ropes…until O’Reilly counters into a headlock forcing Mox to break his own hold! Kyle fights into a cross arm breaker, as Mox uses the ropes to pull himself out of the ring and break the hold.
The fight spills out of the ring as Mox goes after O’Reilly, only to be launched into the ring steps by Kyle. O’Reilly grabs a chair from nearby, setting it up before landing some kicks on Mox, forcing him onto the chair. Kyle gets on the apron, setting up a running start before leaping off for a missile dropkick sending him against the barricade! He brings Mox back into the ring, blocking a cutter attempt before cinching in the ankle lock once again!
Mox turns over to kick at Kyle’s head, looking for a triangle hold before Kyle drops down to tighten his own hold. Mox eventually kicks away at the head enough to break free, but O’Reilly gets right back after him when Mox grabs the fork…and now it’s Kyle doing the forking, jabbing at the face of Moxley! Mox is looking worse for wear as O’Reilly leaves the ring, grabbing a chain from underneath before coming back.
The two stand off until O’Reilly starts wrapping the chain around Mox while holding onto a guillotine hold…only for Mox to respond in kind. This is chain wrestling at its finest as they trade shots looking for an advantage, and it leads to O’Reilly dropping Mox with a suplex.
The two men are slow to move but eventually make it back to their feet, trading strikes until Kyle lands a couple kicks…only for Mox to grab Kyle with a takedown into a bulldog choke. He uses the chain for added damage, but O’Reilly counters out for some mounted punches. Mox counters as well, finally breaking free to cinch in an ankle lock of his own before going for a bulldog choke…only for O’Reilly to jab his hand with the fork to break the hold!
Mox breaks free and stomps the head of O’Reilly before leaving the ring to grab a chair. He comes back into the ring, wrapping the chair around the right arm of O’Reilly before running into a stomp to take the arm out. It’s looking real bad for O’Reilly as Mox hoists him up for a Death Rider DDT. He looks for a kimura but Kyle grabs his tights to block it, only for Mox to roll through to cinch it in! Kyle breaks free as he rolls through, transitioning to another ankle lock before grabbing the chain for even more damage. He’s got Mox trapped in the middle of the ring with a grapevine, and Mox has no choice but to tap out!
Winner via submission: Kyle O’Reilly
Mox is a man of few emotions here, but the frustration is palpable even as he nods in respect to O’Reilly before leaving the ring. He sees O’Reilly being tended to by medics, and between that and just tapping out once again we see the emotions pouring out as Mox rushes back into the ring, attacking Kyle’s arm once again!
He finally leaves the ring as Strong and Cassidy come to the aid of O’Reilly. Mox shakes his head at everyone chanting “you tapped out” at him before leaving through the crowd as we cut away from ringside.
Video Package: The rivalry between Kyle Fletcher and Mark Briscoe reaches a boiling point with the TNT Title on the line…but if Briscoe loses, he must join the Don Callis Family! There’s a lot at stake in this No DQ match tonight at Full Gear!
Back at ringside, we get a lovely video with Mark Briscoe talking about the importance of faith and family as he goes into this match. With that, he makes his entrance to a very nice pop from the crowd on the way to the ring. Out next is the TNT Champion himself, as Kyle Fletcher makes his way to the ring to get this match underway!
TNT Championship Match No DQ Match (If Briscoe loses, he must join the Don Callis Family): Kyle Fletcher defends against Mark Briscoe
The two go at it until Briscoe tries on a couple occasions to end things early…only to be sent out of the ring by the champ! Fletcher leaves the ring but takes a chair to the face by Mark, who sends Kyle to the barricade to stay on the attack. He sends the champ into the ring steps before launching another chair at Fletcher, and then sets the chair up to let Kyle have a seat. Briscoe gets onto the apron for a running dive…but Fletcher catches him, slamming the challenger onto the chair with a brainbuster instead!
He grabs the head of Briscoe to send him into the ring steps now, as the crowd tells Don Callis at ringside how they feel about him. Kyle looks for a suplex on the steps but is swept onto them instead, and Briscoe follows up with a hard chop. He reaches under the ring for some plunder, pulling out some chairs and a large stepladder.
He sets up the ladder against a couple chairs, propping Kyle up against this before entering the ring for a cannonball dive…only for Fletcher to dodge at the last second, forcing the challenger to crash into the contraption instead! Fletcher goes hunting for a weapon of his own, grabbing a ladder before coming back into the ring…and leaving to grab the challenger and bring him back in as well.
Fletcher slams the ladder against him, busting Briscoe open as he props the ladder up in the corner before setting Briscoe up…but for what, we’ll never know as Briscoe sends Kyle to the mat. Fletcher back up to his feet with the ladder in his hands, only for Briscoe to hit a missile dropkick sending the ladder into his face!
We now see Fletcher is busted open, as Briscoe leaves the ring for another weapon…pulling a table out from underneath. He sets the table up as Kyle goes after him, only to be sent onto the table where Briscoe slams a chair on him. Mark climbs the turnbuckle, only for Fletcher to roll off and walk away…and as Briscoe pursues him, Fletcher lands a half and half suplex sending Briscoe onto the floor.
Fletcher starts setting up some chairs as Briscoe starts to stir, getting to his feet as Fletcher finishes what he set up…only to take another chair right in the face by the challenger! He sets Kyle up on the chairs before climbing the turnbuckle…but a distraction from Don Callis allows Fletcher to intervene, sending Briscoe through the table instead!
Another table has been brought into the ring by this point as Briscoe slowly gets back to his feet to get back into the ring. The table gets propped up against the corner as Briscoe tries to go for a Jay Driller…and Fletcher counters with an Alabama Slam sending Briscoe through the table in the corner! Briscoe manages to fight back on a powerbomb attempt, only to be dropped hard by the champion…who brings in a back to pour out a pile of thumbtacks.
Briscoe tries to fight back, but Kyle grabs a handful of tacks and shoves them into Briscoe’s mouth before slamming him in the face. He looks for another powerbomb, but Briscoe counters and drops the champ onto the tacks with a brainbuster for a close two count! Mark leaves the ring, pulling out a table with barbed wire attached and a ladder.
He props the table against the apron and brings the, uh, latter into the ring before grabbing a chair on his way back in. As he sets the ladder up he sees Fletcher trying to get away, and this leads to a fight on the apron…until Briscoe lands a leaping neckbreaker to send the champ through the chairs on the outside!
Briscoe sets a table up over the pile of tacks before climbing the ladder, only for Fletcher to intervene by climbing the ladder himself…until Briscoe leaps off the ladder for a Froggy Bow sending Fletcher through the table! Cover by the challenger…and Kyle manages to barely kick out at two to stay in the match!
Mark leaves the ring to bring the barbed wire table in, as Kyle is handed a screwdriver by Callis. Briscoe brings the champ to his feet and blocks a screwdriver shot…but Kyle manages to jab him in the head with it anyway, sending Briscoe to the corner. He licks the screwdriver in an act of defiance, and this costs him as Mark lands another brainbuster onto the tacks for a nearfall.
Briscoe climbs the turnbuckle, but the champ shoves the ref into him to stop it. Kyle’s still got the screwdriver and he pokes it through the turnbuckle pad, looking for a very nasty brainbuster…but Briscoe stops him! Cutthroat Driver is stopped by a screwdriver to the head, and Fletcher lands a sheer drop brainbuster for the cover…only for the challenger to kick out just in the nick of time!
Mark gets to his feet as he heads to the opposite corner, where Fletcher starts to intercept him…but Briscoe fends him off, setting up for a BT Bomb sending Fletcher through the barbed wire table. He follows up with a Jay Driver, and pins Fletcher to become the new TNT Champion here at Full Gear!
Winner via pinfall and new TNT Champion: Mark Briscoe
Briscoe celebrates as we cut away.
Video Package: The return of Jurassic Express intersects with the Young Bucks trying to get some good money back on their side, and caught up in the mix is Kenny Omega and Josh Alexander in this Million Dollar Trios Match at Full Gear!
Back at ringside, a Wheel of Fortune-style entrance suggests the Young Bucks are looking to earn a million bucks as they head to the ring for our next match. Josh Alexander makes his entrance next, before the crowd pops heavy for Jurassic Express as “Tarzan Boy” plays throughout the arena. That pop is only made louder by the arrival of Kenny Omega, who heads to the ring to get this match underway!
$1 Million Trios Match: Kenny Omega, Jack Perry and Luchasaurus vs. The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Josh Alexander
We start off with Perry and Nick Jackson, and the fight quickly spills to the outside where Perry takes control. He sends Nick to the mat with an arm drag, but a double dropkick goes nowhere as they stand off. Tags made to Luchasaurus and Matt. Luchasaurus takes Matt down with ease before sending him to the ropes, chopping him as well as Josh and Nick down easily. He brings Matt to the corner for a tag to Perry, and a double-team leads to a dropkick by Perry for a nearfall.
Perry keeps an arm wringer on Matt as he tags in Omega, who drops onto the arm for added damage. The two head to the ropes where Josh tags himself in, laying some shots into Kenny before the latter sends him to the outside for a dive. He brings Alexander back into the ring, but Josh goes after the leg he attacked previously to keep Omega down. Tag made to Matt, with Nick tagging in for a double-team on their old friend…until he takes the Bucks to the mat not once but twice!
They end up on the outside as Omega looks for a dive, only to be cut off by Alexander. Omega fights back for a hurricanrana sending Alexander out of the ring, before landing a dive onto all three men. He brings Nick back in the ring before Perry tags in, but things come down for him as Alexander catches him on a dive attempt to slam the former Jungle Boy onto the apron. Perry is brought back in as Matt tags in, only to go after Omega on the outside before the Bucks land Risky Business for a two count.
Matt hits the ropes for a lariat, taking Perry down for another nearfall before tagging in Alexander, who goes back to work on Jack before getting a two count of his own. He sends Perry to the ropes but takes a lariat by Perry for his troubles. Josh fights back to send Perry back to the ropes, but once again this proves costly as Perry catches him with a DDT. Tag made to Luchasaurus and to Matt, as Luchasaurus takes Alexander and the Bucks out with clothesline. Double chokeslam is intercepted by Alexander, who takes a chokeslam for his effort. He lands one on the Bucks before hitting a standing moonsault on Matt for a two.
Luchasaurus fights off The Bucks some more before Josh gets the tag, going after the big man before Omega gets involved as well off a tag. Things break down as all six men go at it, with Perry taking a backbreaker by Alexander before Luchasaurus takes him out. Destroyer by Matt is followed by a running knee by Omega! Everyone is down but we see Omega Alexander back on their feet, trading strikes with the ring finally cleared.
This culminates in Alexander cinching in the ankle lock, and The Bucks add insult (and injury) to injury with a BTE Trigger before diving onto Jurassic Express on the outside. Back in the ring, Omega narrowly gets to the ropes to finally force a break.
Matt makes a tag but falls victim to a TK Driver by Perry as Omega gets a nearfall. Countdown to Extinction gets blocked, but Alexander takes a running knee. Nick gets sent out of the ring as Jurassic Express land Countdown to Extinction on Matt…but Alexander breaks the pin at the last second!
Alexander is sent out out of the ring as the Bucks end up landing a series of superkicks…including one on Alexander by accident! Josh is sent to the floor as Perry gets a rollup on Matt, but Nick intervenes for a BTE Trigger that leads to a big win for the pair!
Winners via pinfall: Josh Alexander and the Young Bucks
Don Callis grabs a microphone, talking about the Bucks not only getting rich again but joining the Family. He and the Bucks leave to go up the ramp, but the rest of the Family starts beating up some more on Omega…and this leads to the Bucks leaving their money behind to run down for the save! They fend off the Family, extending a hand to Omega…who initially slaps it away, but shows that he’d rather hug it out instead!
In the midst of this we see Callis and his Family take the money and run, as the Bucks, Jurassic Express, and Omega head up the ramp. Kenny collapses for a moment, leading to questions about his health as we cut away.
Video Package: Kris Statlander has been waiting a long time for some revenge against Mercedes Moné, telling the woman of many belts to “focus on me” heading into this AEW Women’s World Championship match tonight at Full Gear!
Back at ringside, Mercedes Moné makes her entrance for our next match. A nice little entrance with a spaceship on the stage brings out the champ as Kris Statlander heads to the ring, and this match is officially underway!
AEW Women’s World Championship Match: Kris Statlander defends against Mercedes Moné
Moné goes for an ankle pick but is quickly fended off by Stat, who takes control for a moment before Mercedes goes for a Statement Maker. Kris manages to break free, but is sent out of the ring by the CEO…who gets caught on a dive attempt, with Statlander hoisting her up to walk up the steps onto the apron.
Moné breaks free, but is soon caught with a superplex by the champ who follows up with a 450 splash…but Mercedes rolls away! This forces Stat to leave the ring, favoring her arm as the ref goes to check on her. Kris insists she can continue, getting back to her feet…just in time to take a Meteora by Moné! She mocks the champ, telling the doc to check on her before sending Stat into the steps.
Mercedes climbs the steps for a double stomp, bringing Stat back into the ring for a cover and a two count. DDT off the ropes by Moné, and she goes for an armbar on the champ while targeting her hand at the same time. Stat struggles as Moné changes the grip, only for the champ to get to her feet. Mercedes sends her to the corner, eventually dropping her to the mat for a two count.
Stat is in a bad way here, as Moné continues the attack with some stomps before sending the champ to the corner. Kris starts to fight back, but the CEO catches her with an armbar…and switches sides just to keep the champ off her game. Stat powers to her feet, but is dropped down on her arm by Moné, who drives her boot into the arm even more before kicking it away. She gets back up and lands a big DDT on Stat, but it’s only good for a nearfall which frustrates her.
Moné stays on the attack now, setting up for a long series of vertical suplexes beyond the usual Three Amigos. A remark is made about her matching the number of titles she has, and sure enough, she lands a series of 13 suplexes in total…and one to grow on! This gets a “CEO” chant from the crowd, honoring the work put into that sequence.
Moné looks to complete the homage with a frog splash as she goes up top…but she lands on the boot of the champ, right into the midsection! Both women are slow to get back up, before trading strikes. Moné gets sent into the ropes for a back body dropped, and then into the corner as Stat sends up for a Michinoku Driver of sorts…but it only gets a two count.
Stat rolls to the outside for a breather, but Moné comes after her looking for a Meteora…only for the champ to drop her with a Blue Thunder Bomb to the floor! Kris struggles to get up, sliding into the ring as the ref begins the count…and gets to nine before Mercedes slides into the ring to stop it! Stat gets up but takes a Backstabber by the CEO, sending her into the corner before landing another attack. She sets up for a running kick (I think?)…but Stat catches her with a discus lariat instead!
Cover by the champ, but Mercedes attacks the arm to stop the pin. She fights to her feet before Stat takes control, locking in a Statement Maker on the CEO…but Moné rolls through for one of her own! Kris is trapped in the middle of the ring, trying to roll through as Moné keeps the hold on…but the champ gets to her feet, bringing Mercedes up to the turnbuckle as a result. Moné gets caught on the shoulders of Stat once more, right into a rib breaker on the way down to the mat!
Cover by Statlander, but Mercedes narrowly gets a shoulder up at two. Stat looking for Saturday Night Fever, but Moné breaks free. She stops a tombstone attempt and rolls Stat up for a two, with Stat responding in kind for a nearfall of her own. They fight to their feet until the champ connects with a package piledriver, but it only gets a two as Moné grabs the bottom rope to save the match for herself.
Stat brings the CEO to the corner but is fought off, only to block a Meteora attempt. Hurricanrana is blocked, but Moné transitions for a reverse rana instead…and hits a double knees in the ropes on the champ! Cover by Mercedes, but it’s still not enough as Kris kicks out to save her title.
Moné gets back up, trying to set up for a Money Maker but the champ powers out. This leads to them exchanging holds, and Moné gets caught in the corner leading to a Saturday Night Fever as Kris Statlander pins to retain the Women’s World Championship!
Winner via pinfall and still AEW Women’s World Champion: Kris Statlander
Statlander celebrates her win as we cut away.
Backstage, we hear from the Don Callis Family as they addressing the money they won versus the losses they faced earlier in the night. Callis hypes up Okada defending the Continental Championship in the Continental Classic…and we find out that Konosuke Takeshita will be in the tournament as well!
Kyle Fletcher appears, angry that neither Okada nor Takeshita were out there to help him as he lost his TNT Championship. He reveals that he is ALSO entering the Continental Classic, before walking off. Okada blames Takeshita for all this before leaving, and Takeshita stares him down as we cut away.
Video Package: Samoa Joe is a man obsessed with taking out Hangman Adam Page and win back the AEW World Championship, a rematch from WrestleDream that takes place inside a steel cage tonight at Full Gear!
We head back to ringside as Samoa Joe makes his entrance for our main event, followed by the Hangman himself as Adam Page heads to the ring. We get introductions for the challenger and the champion, and with that this match is underway!
AEW World Championship Steel Cage Match: “Hangman” Adam Page defends against Samoa Joe
The two men circle the mat before locking up, and Joe sends the champ to the corner for some hard strikes. Page fights back, eventually sending the challenger into the side of the cage for a nearfall…before Joe gets some revenge, sending the Hangman into the cage for his troubles. The damage done leads to both men being busted open early as Joe goes back to work, pulling off Page’s boot before sending the champ to the corner for some stomps to the head. Page fights back, now using his own boot against the challenger before charging at him with it. Cover by Hangman only gets a one count.
Page brings Joe to his feet for some hard strikes before sending him face first into the side of the cage, only making things worse for the wear and tear on the challenger. Joe manages to turn it back around as he lands some elbow shots on the head of the champ, before they once again trade strikes back and forth…with Joe sending Page into the cage with a back elbow strike! Page is trapped as Joe lands a flurry of offense, culminating in an enziguri.
Page is slow to his feet as he gets back in the ring, the two men going back at it until Page goes for a chokehold…only to be driven away by the challenger, who stomps at him before pulling off the turnbuckle pad. Page manages to fight back to his feet, going to the turnbuckle…but Joe catches him, looking for a muscle buster!
Page attacks the cut on Joe’s head to fend him off, climbing up even higher before Joe looks for an avalanche muscle buster…only to be knocked off by the champ. We see Katsuyori Shibata coming to the cage, climbing up the side to intervene…but Eddie Kingston pulls him down to keep him at bay! This is followed by the arrival of Powerhouse Hobbs who levels Kingston, before basically ripping the lock off the cage door.
He is fended off by Page, but not before the ref gets knocked down as Joe goes for a Coquina Clutch…only for the champ to counter into a Dead Eye! Cover by Page, but the ref is still out as HOOK comes down to the ring to try and wake up the ref. When the ref is slow to get up, HOOK grabs the World Title…and nails the Hangman with it! He leaves the ring as Joe grabs Page for a Muscle Buster and the win to become the new AEW World Champion!
Winner via pinfall and AEW World Champion: Samoa Joe
The cage is raised back up as Joe’s group of Dojo students applaud the new champion…but the celebration is cut short as the lights go out. We get a glimpse of what is revealed to be Prince Nana, saying “we’re in the money” as the crowd chant Whose House?…and we get new music for the return of Swerve Strickland!
He makes his way down the ramp as Joe tells his students to step aside…but after staring the new champion down, he immediately goes after one of the students as Joe takes his leave! This leads to the rest of The Opps going after Swerve, but he fights them off leading to landing the Killshot on one student and a House Call on another! Another student tries to blindside Strickland, but takes a Buckshot Lariat from Page instead! Hangman stands alongside Swerve, the two staring down Joe and his main Opps pals as Swerve’s music plays once more to bring Full Gear to a close.
