Former NXT talent Ridge Holland (Luke Menzies) posted to his Instagram that he underwent successful neck surgery. He also noted he had two collapsed discs in my neck resulting in nerve impingement.
“After experiencing pain and lack of mobility due to pain in my neck, I consulted with doctors and had tests taken that determined that I had two collapsed discs in my neck resulting in nerve impingement. Yesterday I underwent disc replacement surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan with Dr Sheeraz Qureshi. The surgery was deemed to be very successful. And I got a room with a view!”

WWE terminated Holland’s contract early following comments he made on social media. His current deal was originally set to expire on November 14. The comment that got him in hot water with WWE, was made in a previous X post, which he said he felt “hung out to dry” by WWE and never thought he would not be able make his mortgage payments. We was still expected to pay for his medical expenses.
A family member later launched a GoFundMe for Holland and his family of five. However, he said that he had no prior discussion with the family member that created it. He asked that no further donations and took what was donated and gave it all away to charity.
Holland sustained a Lisfranc injury during his match against Moose at TNA television tapings back on September 27 at the Edmonton Expo Centre back on September 27.
