Deadline has reported that CM Punk has joined the cast of The Bodyguard, a romantic comedy based on the Katherine Center novel of the same name.
The reigning World Heavyweight Champion is set to play the role of Doghouse, described as “physically intimidating member of the security detail, who is known for his loyalty and humor.”
Punk joins Andie MacDowell, Walker Hayes, Noah LaLonde, and Toby Sandeman in the Leighton Meester and Jared Padelcki-helmed film.
The new role comes after Punk’s voiceover appearance in Zootopia 2, joining fellow WWE star Roman Reigns as the Zebros.
Following a pinfall loss at Survivor Series, he is set to defend his title against Bron Breakker on the January 5, 2026 edition of WWE Raw.
