According to a report from Fightful Select, a WWE source has indicated that Bron Breakker is currently the favorite to win the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble Match. It was also said WWE creative is still actively working building the direction for the Rumble, in addition to the road to WrestleMania.
Breakker is scheduled to challenge CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship on the January 5, 2026 episode of Raw, which will take place from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The report adds there has also been speculation for months that Bron Breakker vs. CM Punk and Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes were being looked at for WrestleMania 42, which takes place on April 18 and 19, 2026 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, just outside of Las Vegas.
The 2026 WWE Royal Rumble will emanate for the first-time outside of the United States and Canada, as it comes to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on January 31, 2026.
