WWE: Then. Now. Forever. Together.
We open with a video package looking back at Saturday Night’s Main Event, centered around John’s Cena final match. Many of the big moments from the match are shown, including Cena finally tapping out, before the focus is turned to the celebration of his career post-match. The final shot of the package is Cena saluting his fans after a long journey, and making his way to the back.
From there we go to an eerily quiet crowd at the GIANT Center…though that doesn’t last long as the crowd immediately begin booing the arrival of Gunther to the stage. The man who made Cena give up enjoys the hatred coming his way from the Hershey crowd as he heads toward the ring. He stops at the ring steps before heading to the announce table, standing upon it to enjoy even more of the boos from the fans as Alicia Taylor introduces him.
Finally, the Ring General makes his way into the ring, standing with a microphone in hand as the crowd continues to show their disdain. He climbs the nearest turnbuckle to, as the kids would say, “farm more aura” as the crowd now begins chanting “you suck” at Gunther.
The crowd remind him of his previous failings as they chant “you tapped out,” something Gunther has a smirk at before he starts to speak…only for the crowd to shut him down with more booing. He can’t help but enjoy how much the crowd are on his case after Saturday Night’s Main Event, a grin forming on his face before finally speaking. He says he did what he said he would do…he made John Cena give up!
The crowd try to fight him as they continue booing, while Gunther says that when he gave up, Cena tapped out like a little b—h! He drops the microphone, leaving the ring to soak in the anti-adultation from this crowd…only to return to the ring, climbing the turnbuckle to mock the crowd some more. Seemingly satisfied with the hate coming his way now, Gunther finally leaves the ring again and heads up the ramp…only to make his way back, returning to the announce table to taunt the fans yet again.
He grabs another microphone to remind the fans that he made John Cena tap out like a little b—h, and that he will forever known as the man who made John Cena give up. The crowd boo some more, chanting “you suck” as Gunther drops the mic again before making his way back up the ramp. We follow Gunther through Gorilla position and into the backstage area, where he stares down Otis and Akira Tozawa. Otis says Gunther must feel pretty good about what he did, to which the Ring General says he does.
He continues his walk before bumping into R-Truth, who calls Gunther a piece of trash. Gunther is inclined to agree, continuing to make his way through the backstage area until he is confronted by Adam Pearce. The Raw GM talks about what Gunther did, saying he walked all over Cena’s legacy tonight because he knows John isn’t coming back. That doesn’t make you a ring general, that makes you an a–hole.
He tells Gunther he’s done, and to find the exit. Gunther just continues to enjoy himself as he heads to the parking lot to get to his car…only to see AJ Styles waiting for him. AJ is rather silent, something Gunther acknowledges before getting into his car…mocking Styles with Cena’s “you can’t see me” gesture before driving off.
We cut away as commentary talks about what just happened.
Superstar Arrivals include some of the women involved in the two big title matches for the night, The Vision, and a returning CM Punk.
Video Package: The Usos are back in the tag division, setting their eyes on the New Day as they put the division on notice.
We return to ringside, where The Usos enter through the crowd. They face the New Day up next, kicking off the in-ring action on Raw!
-Commercial Break-
We return to ringside where the New Day are accompanied by Grayson Waller on their way down the ramp. They taunt the crowd before entering the ring, and after a staredown between both teams this match is underway!
The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) vs. New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)
We start off with Jimmy and Kofi circling the mat before locking up, with Kofi escaping the grasp of Jimmy for a side headlock of his own. Jimmy turns it around, but is sent to the ropes…where he responds with a shoulder tackle. He dodges a dropkick by Kingston before the two end up in a standoff. Kofi charges at Jimmy, who catches him with a right hand before tagging in Jey. Jey gets a few shots in on Kingston, sending him to the ropes for a clothesline…only for Woods to catch him while the ref is distracted!
Kingston sends Jey to the outside, mocking the crowd alongside Woods as we go to break.
-Commercial Break-
We return from break as Jey makes the hot tag to Jimmy, who lays into Kingston before being sent to the corner. He sends Woods off the apron before nailing Kofi with a kick, forcing Kingston to the corner for a hip attack. He climbs the turnbuckle but has to deal with Woods and Waller, and this allows Kofi to send him to the outside.
Kingston distracts the ref, allowing Woods and Waller to land some more shots before Kofi brings Jimmy back in. Tag made to Xavier, who stomps away at Jimmy before tagging Kingston back in. Kofi with a few more shots of his own before Woods tags in once more, and he takes Jimmy down for a nearfall.
Woods sends Jimmy to the corner, tagging Kofi in for a double-team as Jimmy is caught in a tree of woe…but Jimmy manages to dodge Kingston at the last second! Tag made to Jey, who lays into Woods before sending him to the corner. Xavier dodges him but takes a thrust kick off the ropes, which gets Jey a two count. He sends Woods to the outside for a dive, bringing him back in the ring to climb up for an Uso splash and a nearfall as we go to break.
-Commercial Break-
Back in the ring, Jey lands some shots as the crowd chants “YEET”…but the Uso is tripped up by Waller as he hits the ropes. The ref sees Grayson gloating about this, and ejects him from ringside! Woods is distraught, and this allows the Usos to land a double superkick on Xavier and Kofi, sending the latter out of the ring before landing a pair of Uso splashes on Woods. Cover by Jey, but it’s only good for a two count!
Tag made to Jimmy, and the pair look for another superkick…only for Jey to be pulled out of the ring by Kofi! This allows Woods to roll Jimmy up for a close two count, before sending him out of the ring for a DDT to the floor. Tag to Kofi for a splash, and Kingston tags Xavier back in for a double-team and the cover…before Jimmy narrowly breaks the pin!
Trouble in Paradise connects on Jimmy, taking him out as all four men are left on the mat. New Day make it to their feet as we see Jey roll out of the ring, and the pair lay into Jimmy some more…only for Jimmy to break free, landing a superkick on Kingston before sending Woods to the outside for a spear by Jey.
Kofi misses another Trouble in Paradise, leading to a spear by Jimmy and a tag to Jey. 1D connects, and Jey gets the pin on Kingston for The Usos to score the win.
Winners via pinfall: The Usos
We get a replay of the finish before cutting away.

Video Package: We take a look back at last week and Logan Paul’s attack on Rey Mysterio, made slightly more complicated by the arrival of the mystery man from Survivor Series, who later cost LA Knight the match against Logan. Vision beatdown on LA Knight post-match, all the way to the backstage area where they set him up for a Tsunami on top of a car!
Backstage, The Vision talk about taking LA Knight out before turning their attention to CM Punk. Mentions of the masked man lead to Paul Heyman addressing it, admitting he’ll take the help. Bron Breakker pulls Heyman aside to talk about taking out Punk, but Heyman points out he is 21 days (504 hours!) away from Breakker beating Punk to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Heyman leaves as Logan asks Bron to “lock in” ahead of the Maverick’s match against Rey Mysterio.
Commentary talks about what happened last week, noting that LA Knight is out “indefinitely” after the attack by The Vision last week. They also hype up CM Punk speaking later tonight, before Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley make their way out to a big pop from the crowd.
The pair head toward the ring…until Ripley takes a face full of poison mist! Kabuki Warriors blindside Rhea and Iyo before taking Ripley into the ring. Referees can’t stop the pair from setting Ripley up for an Insane Elbow…but Sky jumps into the ring, covering Rhea to take the brunt of it! Kabuki Warriors leave the ring to celebrate up the ramp, as officials check on the pair to take us to commercial.

We take a look back at what just happened, before returning to ringside where Ivy Nile is standing by for our next match. Making her entrance next is the champ as Maxxine Dupri gets a nice crowd pop on her way to the ring. We get introductions for challenger and champion, and this match is underway!
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Maxxine Dupri (c) defends against Ivy Nile
Nile mocks the champ as she goes on the attack, taking Dupri for some mounted punches. She brings Maxxine to her feet before sending her to the corner, but Dupri goes for an ankle lock to force Ivy to back off. Nile catches the champ in the corner, but Maxxine catches her in an armbar of sorts on the ropes before the ref intervenes. She leaves the ring, only to be blindsided by the challenger as we go to commercial.
-Commercial Break-
Back from break, both women are in the ring as Nile continues to lay into the champ…until Dupri counters a reverse suplex to take Nile to the mat! The two fight their way to their feet, where Maxxine absorbs a couple forearm strikes before sending Ivy to the canvas with a boot. She slams the challenger down hard, forcing Ivy to the corner before landing a fisherman’s suplex with a bridging pin for two.

Maxxine gets to the corner to get back up, where Nile lays into her with punches…until the champ lands a sitout powerbomb for a nearfall! She goes up top, but is caught by Ivy for a tree of woe dragon sleeper until the ref intervenes with a four count.
The champ is still tied up, but takes Nile off the turnbuckle before breaking free for a cross body. Ivy dodges it, rolling Dupri up for a nearfall. Maxxine cinches in an ankle lock, with the challenger trying multiple times to break free before sending the champ into the corner. Dupri clutches the hold one more time, locking a grapevine to make Ivy tap out for the win!
Winner via submission and still WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion: Maxxine Dupri
Dupri celebrates as we cut away.
Video Package: Looking back at the undercard of Saturday Night’s Main Event, which was focused on celebrating the present and future of WWE!
Backstage, Adam Pearce talks up Je’Von Evans and his efforts at Saturday Night’s Main Event before El Grande Americano and his Amazing Amigos interrupt to talk smack. Evans won’t stand for the Americano to talk crazy about NXT or himself, and this gives Pearce idea to book a match for next week. Je’Von Evans will face El Grande…or rather, his friend Rayo…Americano next week!
-Commercial Break-
CM Punk makes his way out to a big pop from the crowd, singing along to his theme as Punk heads to the ring. He is not happy as he goes into how it felt sitting at home the past two weeks, listening to “Neanderthal nepo baby” Bron Breakker speaking.
He addresses the words Breakker has had to say, saying Breakker can’t even handle 2025 CM Punk without the help of his friends. He mockingly congratulates “Bronny” on pinning the champ, saying he didn’t do it alone. Punk has been here, many times before, and Breakker can ask Heyman how many times he’s set someone with a little bit of promise up only to see them wither.
If he had a dime for every time someone tried to be gassed up with a lot of promise, he’d have a pocketful of dimes…and speaking of dimes, if Bron ever talks about Punk’s wife again he will–on second thought, I think I’d better leave the rest of that out.
Punk tells Breakker to bring all the help he can get, including his dumb father and his dumber brother Scott, ’cause he will need it going up against Punk on January 5. He will take out the YouTube scammer, and that leaves Dumb and Dumber…and all the Steiner Math in the world won’t matter because the GTS means 1, 2, 3 and STILL the champion of the world…the BEST in the World…CM Punk!
He drops the mic as his music hits, and he points to his title as we cut away.
Judgment Day talk about JD McDonagh being on the shelf and Finn Balor spending some time with him, before Liv talk up Raquel becoming the new Women’s World Champion. They hype up taking back the Women’s Tag Team Championship as well, and with that Rodriguez walks off to head to ringside.

WWE Women’s World Championship: Stephanie Vaquer defends against Raquel Rodriguez
Rodriguez charges at the champ, who dodges it only to be caught in a wristlock by Raquel. She sends Vaquer to the mat before hitting the ropes, but the champ fights back before heading to the ropes herself…running right into a shoulder tackle by the challenger! Raquel sends Stephanie to the corner for some punches, mouthing off with the ref when he intervenes. This allows Vaquer to turn things around for a two count.
Champ lands a headbutt before heading up top…but she leaps into the arms of Rodriguez, who drops her with a suplex for a nearfall of her own as we head to break!
-Commercial Break-
Back from break, Rodriguez stops the champ from taking control as she locks in a nerve hold. Vaquer struggles to break free, sending the challenger to the ropes before landing a few shots on Raquel. She sends the challenger to the corner for a clothesline, followed by a dragon screw that sends Rodriguez to the mat hard.
Raquel manages to fight back now, sending the champ into the corner for some more shots…until Vaquer locks in an armbar on the ropes! But the challenger just hoists Stephanie up, landing a powerbomb for a two count. She goes up top but Vaquer dodges, landing a kick and a slam to take Rodriguez to the mat. She sets Raquel up for the Devil’s Kiss, landing ten shots to force the challenger scrambling to the corner for a break.
Meteora connects in the corner, but Rodriguez blocks an SVB to send the champ to the mat. Vaquer heads to the corner, catching Raquel in the corner for another armbar to pull her out of the ring. She sends the challenger into the ring post, only for Nikki Bella to blindside her as the ref calls for the bell!
Winner via disqualification and still Women’s World Champion: Stephanie Vaquer
Bella continues the attack as she sends Vaquer back into the ring for a Rack Attack 2.0, mocking the champ as her music plays.
Backstage, Pearce confronts Paul Heyman about who the masked man is. Paul runs down a list that ends with Bruno Sammartino, saying he’s not guilty but it’s convenient as he walks off. Pearce says he wants to know by the end of the night, but is interrupted by the arrival of Rhea Ripley who says she wants Asuka. That match is made official for next week.
Elsewhere, Rey Mysterio talks to CM Punk on his way to ringside. Punk tells Rey to punch Logan Paul in the face, something Rey looks to do when he faces the Maverick in our main event…and that match is up next!
-Commercial Break-
Backstage, we hear from Dragon Lee and AJ Styles who want to remind everyone they’re the top of the tag division, deciding to speak with Adam Pearce before Nikki Bella chimes in to put Stephanie Vaquer and Raquel Rodriguez on notice, saying they both should be shining her boots before she walks off.
Next week on Raw:
- Je’Von Evans vs. Rayo Americano
- Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez
- Rhea Ripley vs. Asuka
Elsewhere, Bayley hypes up Maxxine Dupri for retaining her title before Lyra Valkyria checks in on her after losing to Sol Ruca. She seems uncertain about herself until Lyra, uh, bullies Bayley into firing back up before walking away.
Back at ringside, there’s been enough talk…it’s TIME for our main event! Rey Mysterio makes his way out to a nice pop from the crowd, and he will face Logan Paul when we come back from break.
-Commercial Break-
Back at ringside, Logan Paul arrives to the ring and mocks Mysterio, throwing something at the Hall of Famer to get this match underway!
Logan Paul vs. Rey Mysterio
Logan dodges an early charge by Mysterio, sending him to the corner for a couple shots. Rey fights back, sending Paul to the ropes for a 619 attempt…but Logan intercepts him on the way back to the ropes, landing a few punches for good measure.
Paul mocks the crowd before bringing Rey to his feet, sending him to the corner with a hammer throw before grabbing his belt to whip across Mysterio. The ref intervenes, and Logan finally tosses the belt away before charging at Rey in the corner. Another hammer throw, but this time Mysterio fights back to send Logan to the mat with a headscissors.
He takes the Maverick to the corner for a punch, but Logan quickly breaks free to send Mysterio to the mat. He sends Rey to the ropes now, catching him in his arms for a rolling slam and a springboard moonsault across the ring…right into the knees of Mysterio! This forces Logan to take a breather on the outside, but not for long as Mysterio takes him to the floor with a seated senton off the apron as we go to break.
-Commercial Break-
Back from break, Logan is back in control as he hits a corner splash on Mysterio, only to get sent to the ropes by the Hall of Famer. Paul dodges another 619 attempt, forcing Rey to drop to the mat before taunting the crowd. They chant “Logan sucks” as Paul goes up top, only to be caught with a right hand by Mysterio.
Rey lands some more shots on the top rope, followed by a hurricanrana that drops Logan to the canvas for a two count. Logan fights to his feet, and the two men trade strikes. Logan with a boot before sending Mysterio to the ropes, and catches Rey for a running powerslam and a nearfall before Mysterio kicks out.
He brings Rey to this feet again, setting up for a powerbomb before Rey counters, sending Logan to the ropes…but Paul cuts him off at yet another 619 attempt! Logan follows up with a pair of vertical suplexes, invoking the name of Eddie Guerrero as he sets Rey up on the turnbuckle. He goes for a superplex, but Rey blocks it to land a sunset powerbomb!
Paul is looking in rough shape as Rey sends him to the outside with a sliding dropkick. Rey hits the ropes for a sliding splash under the bottom rope, bringing Logan back into the ring. We see Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker coming down the ramp, but CM Punk appears with a chair to stop them! He runs the pair off as Logan tries to sneak attack Mysterio, only for Rey to roll him up for a two count.
Rey goes for a hurricanrana but gets slammed to the mat by Paul instead, and Logan crawls to the ropes asking for an assist from Heyman who hands him the brass knuckles. Rey catches the Maverick, sending him into the ropes to finally connect with a 619! He looks ready to drop the dime from the ropes, but the masked man shows up while the ref is focused on Logan Paul and lands a stomp on the Hall of Famer!
Logan takes advantage of this, bringing him into the ring for a frog splash to pick up the win.
Winner via pinfall: Logan Paul
Paul stares at the masked man, who makes his escape through the crowd when Punk comes to the ring. The mystery man walks up the stairs before pulling the mask off, revealing himself as Austin Theory!
Punk shouts at Theory from the turnbuckle until he gets blindsided by Bron Breakker, who sits beside the fallen champ as we hear him say Punk is right, this is business…but if he talks about Bron’s family ever again he won’t be able to stand on two feet ever again. Theory looks on from the crowd as The Vision stand tall to bring Raw to a close.
