Myron Reed, Zachary Wentz, and Desmond Xavier were interviewed backstage during the Maximum Carnage edition of AEW Collision, leaving to speculation on the whereabouts of Rascalz partner Trey Miguel.
Miguel, who has been a part of the faction since 2018, later released a statement via his Instagram stories, revealing he was:
Taking a break from wrestling. Please respect my space and don’t tag me in any posts or comments. Go support the Rascalz still..
Following the update, Fightful Select has reported that Miguel was released from the AEW contract he recently signed, though he is on amicable terms with the company.
He previously spent time in free agency in late 2020 as Xavier and Wentz went on to sign with WWE, returning to Impact Wrestling (now TNA) to pursue a singles run that culminated in a run as X-Division Champion.
The status comes after the faction’s contracts with TNA came to an end at the start of 2026.
