Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Marco Mero took to social media to reveal his royalty earnings from 2019 from the company.
Mero uploaded a copy of the earnings statement showing $71.47, after being partly responsible for helping WWE generate $39,580.81 in earnings. He was with the company from 1996 to 1999.
Mero retired from in-ring competition in 2006 and is currently operating the Marc Mero Body Slam Training Institute in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Mero also contributes much of his time to the nonprofit organization he founded in 2007, Champion of Choices, speaking at schools and churches around the United States.
On December 25, 2025, the 65-year-old Mero married his fiancée, Malissa, in a private, intimate ceremony. This is Mero’s third marriage.
