According to Wrestling Intel, sources have told the publication that Nik Sobic, Senior Vice President of Business Development, Partnerships, and Video Games for AEW has left the company.
Sobic had been with AEW since its inception in 2019, overseeing operations, live events and the development of the AEW Fight Forever video game. He was also a key player in AEW’s maiden game which despite moderately successful sales in the early on set, received mixed reviews from critics and fans.
At the time of Wrestling Intel’s report, there was no reason for Sobic’s departure and if it was related to AEW Fight Forever.
Sobic worked aside Tony Khan and prior to joining AEW, he held a strategic role with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
