Ahead of his match against Gunther at Saturday’s WWE Royal Rumble, putting his career on the line, AJ Styles has made trademark filings with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
On Thurday, January 28, Styles filed to trademark the term “The Phenomenal AJ Styles” and the “P1” logo.

The 48-year old Styles said last year during the Crown Jewel kick-off show that 2026 would the year he retires. It has been previously reported that his WWE contract is up next month.
After news of the trademark filings hit social media, there has been much speculation on various social media platforms such as Facebook, that Styles will be AEW bound after he WWE contract expires.
