WWE couple set to launch new coffee line

During an interview with Complex, WWE couple Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch revealed their new partnership with Los Angeles based coffee tastemaker Dayglow, to launch their own white-label coffee line. Dayglow will serve as the exclusive roaster.

As Rollins and Lynch spent time on road traveling from city to city for weekly WWE events, they made it a point to seek out the best coffee shops. For Rollins and Lynch, this is not set out to be some typical celebrity type endorsement, but something the couple does because they love it.

For Lynch, coffee is all about love. “Coffee… It’s about that love, right? It’s that thing that gets you out of bed in the morning,” says Quin. “It’s simple, but it’s an adventure. Whenever I go to a town, I’m finding the best coffee. I’m really going on an adventure to a new coffee shop, a new type of espresso.”

Rollins echo’s his wife’s thoughts, adding that coffee brings people together, further noting they just want to give access to good coffee to those that don’t have access to it. “It’s like wrestling. We do it because we love it. Coffee brings people together. You sit, talk, bond. This is us sharing something we love. We just want to put good coffee in the hands of people who don’t have access to it. We were those people once, just figuring out what we liked.”

The article also notes that Lynch tends to gravitate toward Americanos from what she calls “hole-in-the-wall, crappy little” shops, while Rollins likes the more fancier coffee. It was just after Rollins introduced his wife to a cortado, this sparked their new business venture.

Rollins spoke highly of Dayglow, noting he believes it’s the best in Los Angeles. “Dayglow, first of all, the quality is elite, the best in Los Angeles in my opinion, and that’s saying a lot,” We met the owner, Tom [Ifergen], and hit it off instantly. He wasn’t pretentious or corporate, just a guy who loved coffee. We both had Midwest roots and connected over traveling and discovering coffee the same way. From a people perspective, a quality perspective, and a cool aesthetic perspective, it all fit together.”

When asked about the possibility of opening their own a brick-and-mortar cafe, Lynch said, “stay tuned…I scouted a spot.” Rollins, while a bit hesitant, said it something that’s “always been on the table.” He did go on to add that he is “hoping for the best.”
