After being absent for just over a year, former AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) were the mystery wild card team in the 3-way Tag Team Title No. 1 Contenders Match, on Wednesday’s Dynamite.
The Young Bucks and Myron Reed and Dezmond Xavier of The Rascalz were the other two teams in the match. The Bucks would go onto win the match, to now get their future shot at the World Tag Team Champions FTR.
Prior to Wednesday night, Private Party’s last match on AEW programming was back on the January 22, 2025 episode of Dynamite, when they dropped the Tag Team Titles to the Hurt Syndicate.
This past June there had been reports Private Party looked to be done with AEW and they that they would eventually show up in WWE. A new report, however, from Fightful Select on Wednesday said the team is still under contract with AEW and that the duo could be back in AEW before they are seen in WWE.
