We go right inside the Mission Ballroom with the abrupt start…Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuinness and Excalibur are on commentary.
MJF music hits, as he comes out and shouts for his music to be cut. He says this show does not start until Revolution gets rectified…he says he is not some indie talent – he is professional wrester. MJF tells Tony Khan to get his boney a– out and his is not doing the stipulation and the show doesn’t start until something gets done.
The music of Kevin knight hits, as he makes his way to the ring. Knight says look no further than The Jet. He says he gets the job done with wins over the past few weeks. Knight calls MJF a crybaby a— b—-. Knight tells MJF not walk away from him and not be scared. Knight says people are tired of hearing his routine, saying his scarf is fake. Knight tells MJF he has more swag that his fat a– can image. Knight says he is way more handsome that MJF. Knight says The Jet might be a better world champion – the future, the hear and now.
MJF calls Knight an ignorant and arrogant child. MJF tells Knight and tells him to get his a– on a jet…jet on over to El Paso, Texas. Kevin Knight vs. MJF for the triple B. MJF tells him he is the future or the now and when he gets done with him, he will be history.
We go to a vignette featuring Mark Briscoe, Jay Lethal and Tommaso Ciampa, as Lethal and Ciampa will have a match later during tonight’s show.
The music of the Death Riders hit, as PAC, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia and Claudio Castagnoli make their way out to the ring from the back and through the crowd. Marina Shafir and Jon Moxley also make their way out.
Next up, is the Don Callis Family, as they make their way to the ring,
Death Riders (PAC, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia and Claudio Castagnoli) vs. Don Callis Family’s Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta, Josh Alexander and Lance Archer)
Lance Archer and Marina Shafir jaw at each other at ringside…the bell rings as Garcia and Romero start off. Romero backs Garcia into the ropes. Garcia gets a headlock on Romero, sending him down. Garcia connects with a drop kick off the ropes on Romero. PAC is tagged in, as Romero is double teamed. PAC covers Garcia for only a two count. Josh Alexander is tagged in.
Claudio is now tagged in. He picks up Alexander and drops him with a gut wrench suplex. Lance Archer comes in. Josh attacks Claudio from behind, allowing Archer to get the advantage. Archer tags in Romero who then tags in Trent. Claudio sends Romero and Trent to the floor. Yuta is now tagged in. He runs the ropes and is tripped up Alexander. PAC is sent to the floor. Garcia comes in, sending Claudio to the outside and then taking down Romero. Lance Archer comes in and grabs Yuta going for a chokeslam, but Yuta bites his hand, DDT;ing him. Yuta then leaps over the ropes, landing on the rest of the Don Callis Family on the floor…Yuta and PAC double team Trent in the ring. PAC kicks Trent in the mid-section. PAC connects with a big kick on Trent. Romero grabs PAC, trying to keep him from leaping off the top rope on Trent. Trent comes back as PAC falls on the ropes. Romero and Trent double PAC.
-FULL AD BREAK (ON HBO MAX)-
Back from the break, PAC is down in the corner, as Alexander is in the ring. He pushes on the face of PAC with his forearm. Alexander applies a headlock on PAC in the center of the ring. PAC suplexes Alexander. Trent and Romero come in to prevent tags being made by Garcia, Claudio or Yuta. PAC takes down Alexander and tags in Claudio who takes out Trent and Alexander with big uppercuts. Claudio grabs Alexander and sends him to the floor with the giant swing. Trent comes off the top and gets nailed by a big uppercut from Claudio. Yuta is tagged in. Yuta comes off the top, dropping Trent and covers him for only a two count. Romero connects on Yuta with a big knee. Archer comes in and chokeslams Yuta. Archer sends Claudio to the floor and then sends Garcia to the outside. Claudio grabs a chair as the ref tries to take away the chair, Marina jumps on Archer, putting him in a sleeper. He finally drops her, as the Death Riders take out Archer, connecting with big elbow shots as he is in the corner. Claudio powerslams Archer. Yuta comes off the top with a fastball special on Archer and covers him for only a two count. Romero is tagged in. Romero drops Yuta with a sliced break and covers him for only a two count. Romero is dropped with a drop kick by Yuta, who then connects with a big knee on Romero, to then cover him for the win.
Winners by pinfall: Death Riders
Konosuke Takeshita’s music hits as he walks to the ring with a mic in hand. Takeshita and Moxley start to brawl as it is broken up. Takeshita goes right back at Moxley as the Death Riders and the Don Callis Family try to break it up. The fight spills to the rampway area and is finally broken up.

Jerome’s Thoughts: Fun start to the show with MJF. Kevin Knight is just not great on the mic, but you can tell he tries to come across believable, but just isn’t. I don’t expect any kind of title change on Wednesday, but it still should be a fast paced match.
Back from the break, the lights are out in the ballroom, as the music of Tommaso Ciampa hits. He makes his way out to the stage area, as the pyro of fire goes off.
Next up, the music of Jay Lethal, as he makes his way out with The Swirl.
Tommaso Ciampa vs. Jay Lethal
The last time these two met was in ROH in 2015 for the ROH World TV Title.
The bell rings, as we are underway…Lethal grabs Ciampa from behind, but Ciampa takes him down. Both men jaw each at each other. Ciampa pie faces Lethal, as they both exchange slaps to the face in the center of the ring. Both men runs the ropes, as Ciampa connects with a big foot on Lethal, followed by a side suplex.
Ciampa holds on the ropes and back elbows Lethal. As the ref is distracted, Blake Christian slides in the ring, clipping Ciampa. Lethal nails Ciampa in the mouth and then pays homage to Ric Flair. Ciampa is sent to the floor. Lee Johnson grabs Ciampa, but is nailed with a right hand. Blake Christian is then dropped with a big lariat by Ciampa. Ciampa goes to the apron, but is sent to the floor and then onto the announce table.

Back from the break, Ciampa sends Lethal to the corner and then chops him. Lethal is on the top rope. Lethal chops Ciampa as he comes up. Lethal goes for the Kings Elbow, but Ciampa counters and rolls up Lethal for a two count. Lethal hits Ciampa with a Lethal Combination and goes to the top rope. Lethal comes down and Ciampa moves, then rolls up Lethal for a two count. Both men exchange blow. Lethal drops Ciampa with a cutter. Lethal goes for the Lethal Injection, but Ciampa counters it with a kick to the gut and powerslams him. Ciampa covers Lethal for only a two count. Lethal sends The Swirl to the floor as they attempt to get involved. Ciampa nails Lethal with two unprotected knee strikes to the face and then covers Lethal for the win.

We go to a vignette with The IInspiration who will make their debut on Dynamite and send out a challenge to the Brawling Birds.

We go to a vignette featuring Clark Connors
Next up, is the music of the Brawling Birds. The opponents are already in the ring.
The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter) vs. Gypsy Mac and Tyra Russamme
Hayter starts off taking down Tyra. Hayter pie faces Tyra and demands Gypsy Mac to come in. Windsor is tagged in as sends Mac to the corner and then nails her in the mid-section and then kicks her in the back. Windsor covers Mac, but she kicks out at two. Hayter is tagged in. The Birds double team Tyra. Hayter pummels Tyra as Windsor sends Mac to the floor and then connects with a lariat. Tyra is double teamed in the corner by The Birds. Windsor and Hayter drop Tyra with two birds, one stone – a doomsday like move. Hayter covers Tyra for the win.
Winners by pinfall: The Brawling Birds
Jerome’s Thoughts: Windsor and Hayter have great chemistry in the ring. They have potential to be future Women’s Tag Team Champions, but their tag team name is cringy.
We go to a vignette hyping up a $200,000 4-Way Tag Match for next week’s live Collision…insert vomit emoji here.
Back in the venue, the music of Kyle Fletcher hits, as the TNT Champion makes his way out and down to the ring.
Next up, Kazuchika Okada. The International Champion makes his way out and down to the ring. Don Callis now makes his way out.
Top Flight’s music hits, as they make their way out with Christopher Daniels. The three head to the ring.
Protokada (Kazuchika Okada and Kyle Fletcher) vs. Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin)
Okada and Darrius start things off. Both men lock up. Darrius breaks the hold, taking down Okada as both men exchange side headlocks and head scissors. Okada fires back, then tags in Fletcher. Okada and Fletcher drop Darrius as he rolls to the floor, getting a pep talk from Daniels. Darrius drop kicks Fletcher as Dante is tagged in. Dante lands on Fletcher and covers him for only a two count. Okada grabs the leg of Dante, allowing Fletcher to send Dante to the outside. Okada then DDT’s Dante on the floor.
-FULL AD BREAK (ON HBO MAX)-
Back from the break, Fletcher has a hold of Dante, keeping him from making a tag. Dante counters dropping Fletcher who makes the tag to Okada. Dante tags in Darrius. Darrius drops Okada with a Spanish Fly, then goes through the ropes, sending Fletcher into the barricade. Darrius connects with a Northern Lights on Okada and covers him for only a two count. Fletcher is tagged in. He picks up Darrius and drives him hard on the mat. Fletcher covers Darrius, but he gets the shoulder up at two. Dante is tagged in. Top Flight double team Fletcher as Okada is still out on the floor…Okada comes in, but is sent to the floor again. Okada grabs Dante and then kicks him in the face. In the ring, Fletcher drops Darrius with a big lariat. Okada is tagged in. He drop kicks Darrius. Okada connects with the Rainmaker on Darrius, but tags in Fletcher. Dante is sent to the floor with a running boot. Fletcher picks up Darrius and sends him down with a big brain buster and covers him for the win.
Winners by pinfall: Protokada (Kazuchika Okada and Kyle Fletcher)
After the match, Fletcher has a mic and tells the fans to say his full name. Fletcher says he and Okada are the greatest champions in AEW history. Fletcher says together they are unstoppable. Fletcher then issues a challenge, but is cut off by the music of JetSpeed who make their way out. Mike Bailey says that during the Continental Classic, he beat Fletcher and Knight beat Okada. Okada then says JetSpeed never beat Protokada. Fletcher then calls them a b—. Knight says that after he beats MJF for the world title, he would love beat Okada for the Intercontinental Title…Bailey then challenges Protokoda and one of the 12,000 members of the Don Callis Family for a shot at the Trios Titles.
Jerome’s Thoughts: Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight need someone to talk for them. That exchange between Bailey and Knight and Fletcher and Okada was cringy.
We go to a recap of Dynamite what happened between Orange Cassidy, Darby Allin and Clark Connors and Gabe Kidd.
The music of Toni Storm hits, as she makes her way out with Luther. Zayda Steel is already in the ring.
“Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Zayda Steel
The bell rings as Steel kisses the hand of Storm. Both women lock up as Storm takes down Steel. Steel puts out her hand to shake it, but Storm grabs it and twists it. Steel runs the ropes and attempts to take down Storm. Steel then sends Storm to the corner and connects with a running elbow and then a shotgun drop kick. Steel covers Storm for only a two count. Storm snap suplexes Steel and covers her for only a two count. Steel pushes Storm who goes to the apron. Steel connects with a lung blower on Storm sending her to the floor. Steel leaps through the ropes, connecting on Storm. Steel rolls Storm in the ring and comes off with a crossbody and covers Storm for only a two count. Storm snap suplexes Steel twice. Storm then does it a third time! Steel is down in the corner and is hit with a hip attack. Steel is then dropped with a Storm Zero as Toni covers her for the win.
Winner by pinfall: “Timeless” Toni Storm
After the match, Marina Sharfi hits the ring, but Storm fights back with right hands on Shafir. Wheeler Yuta comes in, as Storm pulls off the beanie, causing a bald Yuta to flee the ring. Storm puts the beanie on her head.
-COMMERCIAL BREAK-
Back from the show, Hook is shown in the back parking lot, looking to recruit for The Opps. Anthony Bowens comes in and says he and Hook are friends and he has his back since he came in the company and should join The Opps. Bowens runs down all his accomplishments. Hook tells Bowens The Opps are a group of killers. Hook tells Bowens he will think about it.
We go back inside the venue, as the music of the Sisters of Sin hit. They make their way out and down to the ring.
Next up, the music of Kris Statlander as she makes her way out and down to the ring. The music of Thunder Rosa hits next as she makes her way out and down to the ring.
Kris Statlander and Thunder Rosa vs. Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue)
The bells rings as Rosa and Hart charge each other in the center of the ring. Rosa chops Hart and then drop kicks her, taking her down. Rosa connects with a running lariat on Hart and covers her for a two count. Hart is up and sends Rosa into the corner of the Sisters of Sin. Blue is tagged in and Rosa is tagged in. Rosa kicks Blue in the mid-section. Rosa then hits Hart. Statlander is tagged in. Statlander picks up Blue and drivers her down, covering her for only a two count. Blue rolls to her corner, tagging in Hart. Statlander picks up Hart, but she counters out of it…Blue is tagged in. Hart and Blue double team Statlander.
-FULL AD BREAK (ON HBO MAX)-
Back from the break, Sister of Sin are in control. Hart holds onto Statlander, walks the ropes, and takes her down. Blue is tagged in, as she takes down Statlander who makes the tag to Rosa. Rosa takes down Sisters of Sin. Rosa connects with a running drop kick on Blue in the corner. Rosa covers Blue, but Hart makes the save. Blue tags in Hart. Rosa connects on Hart with a cutter. Kris is tagged in. Blue is then tagged in, as Rosa takes down Blue with a lung blower. Hart kicks Statlander. Blue sends Rosa to the outside. Blue and Hart double team Statlander as Hart covers Kris, but Rosa makes the save. All four ladies exchange blows. Rosa drags Hart and takes out Blue. Statlander drops Hart with two tombstone piledrivers and then covers her for the win.
Winners by pinfall: Kris Statlander and Thunder Rosa
After the match, Thekla comes out and says she is back. She says she can’t stand not one, but two dumb b—. She asks Rosa if she is ready to get toxic. She then tells Statlander to tell Rosa how she made her bleed and take the title from her. Thekla says she fights to kill and tells Rosa to retire already and to give it up for the past of the AEW Women’s division as it belongs to her.
Jerome’s Thoughts: Again poor booking with the Sisters of Sin or I should say Sister of Jobbers. They are no longer a threat with the continued losses.
-COMMERCIAL BREAK-
Back from the break, the music of Andrade El Idolo hits, as he makes his way out and down to the ring with Don Callis. The sirens go off as the Stone Pitbull Tomohiro Ishii makes his way out and down to the ring.
Andrade El Idolo vs. Tomohiro Ishii
The bell rings as we are underway. Both men lock up as Andrade backs Ishii to the corner. We get a clean break. Andrade and Ishii lock up again, as Andrade puts a headlock on Ishii who attempts to fight out of it. Ishii gets out of the hold and nails Andrade with a big right hand. Ishii then sends Andrade to the ropes, but he holds on and baits in Ishii. Both men are up on the top rope. Andrade sends Ishii down. Andrade comes off with a big crossbody and covers Ishii for only a two count. Ishii chops Andrade. Andrade runs the ropes, but is taken down by a shoulder tackle. Andrade then drop kicks Ishii hard, sending him to the floor. Andrade is up on the apron, but Ishii nails Andrade in the jaw, sending him to the floor. Ishii rolls Andrade back in the ring. Ishii grabs Andrade and chops him into the corner. Andrade then connects with a boot on Ishii after gouging his fingers in Ishii’s eyes…he rolls Ishii to the floor and then chops him. Andrade sends Ishii head first into the announce table. Andrade walks around and finds a lady in the front row and gets selfie with Andrade.
-FULL AD BREAK (ON HBO MAX)-
Back from the break, the action is back in the ring, as Ishii picks up Andrade and suplexes him. Ishii chops Andrade and then back drop suplexes him. Ishii runs the ropes, but Andrade counters with a vertical suplex. Andrade delivers two more and then picks up Ishii and slams him down for only a two count. Andrade runs the ropes, but Ishii moves out of the way. He takes down Andrade with a huge headbutt. Ishii runs the ropes and connects on Andrade with a big running lariat. Ishii covers Andrade for only a two count. Ishii nails Andrade with a clubbing forearm on Andrade…Ishii is then taken down as Andrade connects with a big running cannonball on Ishii in the corner. Andrade covers Ishii for only a two count.
Andrade pulls Ishii to the center of the ring. Andrade goes to the top and comes off with a moonsault press on Ishii and then covers Ishii for only a two count. Andrade can’t believe it! Andrade picks up Ishii for the DM, but Ishii counters. Ishii connects on Andrade with a running lariat. Andrade comes back and nails Ishii with a back elbow and then covers him, but Ishii kicks out! Andrade and Don Callis are in disbelief! Andrade then hits Ishii with the DM and covers him for the win.
Winner by pinfall: Andrade El Idolo
After the match, the music of Bandido hits, as he walks to the ring. Andrade takes off his pants. Bandido hits the ring wanting to shake the hand of Andrade, while it is announced that it will be Bandido vs. Andrade at Revolution. Not sure if it will be a title match.
The goes off the air.
Jerome’s Thoughts: Another action packed show with some good storyline progression. I am not a fan of taped shows, especially when they go up against a live show, no matter the promotion. Next week’s Collision will air live up against a live NXT Vengeance Day on Peacock.
