WWE Elimination Chamber saw the culmination of a weeks-long mystery surrounding a box sent to the General Managers of Raw and SmackDown.
Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis presented the box before the main event, as recapped by Mike Tedesco in his live coverage of the event:
Inside is a coffin. The casket opens, and we hear, “You are cursed!” Some dancing 1960s-style vampire girls come out and dance as Danhausen makes his debut! Danhausen goes to the ringside and gives Michael Cole a jar of teeth. Danhausen gets in the ring as girls continue to dance. A fireball goes off, and the lights go out. When they come back on, Danhausen and the vampire girls are gone.
Danhausen had recently teased his departure from AEW, with the company taking him off the roster page of their website earlier today.
