Report: WWE working on visas, full-time deals for more AAA talents

In a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that WWE is working to obtain U.S. visas for more talents working in AAA, as part of a process in offering more full-time deals:

Currently the only AAA wrestler signed to a full-time WWE deal from Mexico is El Hijo del Vikingo, but they are now working on getting tons more signed and U.S. working visas for them. Basically everyone who is featured on TV to any real degree they are looking at signing.

This comes as WWE has integrated AAA talent within WWE programming and vice versa, from the likes of Mr. Iguana appearing on SmackDown to Dominik Mysterio winning the AAA Mega Championship from Vikingo in September 2025.

He is set to defend the title at AAA Rey de Reyes on March 14 with the added stipulation that if Mysterio loses, he must leave AAA.
