John Cena announced on social media, he will be hosting WWE WrestleMania 42.
Cena posted a video to X saying he’s currently in Hollywood filming the comedy film, “One Attempt Remaining” for Netflix and with Las Vegas being close by and WrestleMania in need of a host, he will see fans there.
Cena retired from in-ring competition after his loss to Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event back on December 13, 2025. Following his final match, Cena signed a five-year contract with WWE for an ambassador role.
WrestleMania 42 take place on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, just outside of Las Vegas.
