Pat McAfee ‘gives’ WWE WrestleMania discount during SmackDown

In the midst of a segment featuring Pat McAfee, the former WWE commentator (and current “right-hand man” to Randy Orton) revealed his big surprise in the form of WrestleMania 42 tickets for Saturday, April 18 are 25 percent off from now until the end of Raw on Monday, April 13.

As recapped by Roy Nemer during his live coverage of the show:

Even if they don’t deserve it, he decided to help the fans out. He called RAM Trucks, the official sponsor of WrestleMania and he asked them to pick up 25% of the bill to anyone who buys a WrestleMania Saturday ticket from now until Monday Night Raw.

The show has seen a number of promotions in the wake of reports noting WWE’s struggle to sell out the biggest event of the year, something the company has acknowledged through promos by the likes of McAfee, Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk.

Rhodes defends his Undisputed WWE Championship against Orton to cap off the first night of WrestleMania 42 from Allegiant Stadium in Paradise (Las Vegas), Nevada.
