WWE star Rhea Ripley has revealed she’s been struggling with an eating disorder.
This past Tuesday, Ripley responded to a fitness expert under the name of revivalfitness posted a video to Instagram, asking “what happened” to her.
In his video, he put in numerous clips of Ripley’s more bigger physique, while questioning her recent weight loss. In addition, he also referenced a number critics on social media who claimed the former Women’s World Champion stopped using steroids and “lost all her aura”, because of quitting.
Ripley responded back under the video, writing, “Just a little eating disorder that I’m actively trying to handle.”
Following the video, several fans posted comments, standing up for Ripley. Back on March 21, Ripley responded on social media to those who commented on her physical appearance.
Many fans came to Ripley’s defense in the comments section. “Leave female bodies alone,” one person wrote.
This isn’t the first time the athlete has dealt with online body shaming.
Last month, Ripley posted on X, clapping back at those who were commenting on her appearance.
