Pat McAfee trolls fans at WWE World, calls them ‘dumb marks’, mentions AEW

During Friday’s WWE World at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, Pat McAfee appeared on a big screen, calling the attendees ‘dumb’ marks’ and then mentioning AEW.

A countdown clock was shown that read “Huge Surprise” on the screen. After it hit 00:00, McAfee appeared and called the attendees “dumb marks” for thinking there was actually going to be a big surprise such as a talent from AEW actually signing a deal with WWE.

“Surprise, nerds. “The surprise that you thought was maybe going to be your favorite wrestler of all time. Maybe somebody from AEW was going to sign with WWE at WrestleMania and you marks were going to get zipper burn all over yourself. Instead, well, well, well, Pat McAfee is smarter than all of you dumb marks yet again.”

Despite the continued negativity from fans regarding McAfee’s heel turn back on the April 3 SmackDown, where he aligned with Randy Orton, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque said during an appearance on ESPN Friday, said he believes it is a good thing that people are talking about McAfee and WrestleMania.

McAfee will be on tonight’s WWE SmackDown, which takes place from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has also said that if Orton doesn’t win the title on Saturday from Cody, he will leave WWE forever.
