WWE has announced Cody Rhodes suffered an Orbital injury, after being punted by Randy Orton following his (Rhodes’) successful title defense against Orton in the main event of WrestleMania Night One on Saturday.
Per a report from PWInsider, the injury actually took place with a punch by Orton that caught Rhodes right before an eye poke by Orton.
At the time of this writing, it is not known how long Cody will be out of action.
WWE also sent out a notice to ticket holders that paid to see Cody at Sunday’s WWE World, his appearance was canceled.
