AEW reportedly interested in working with WWE Hall of Famer

The Takedown on SI has reported that AEW has expressed “real interest” in working with Mick Foley this year, as noted by multiple sources.

AEW is set to bring Double Or Nothing to Flushing, New York, not far from Foley’s (and former champion MJF’s) home of Long Island.

One source indicated that while they did not have any direct knowledge of Foley coming in for the show at this time, they would not be surprised if there was a push to use him on it if the deal can be done.

The conversation comes as the WWE Hall of Famer is set to let his Legends deal expire next month, following a previous statement criticizing the company’s dealings with the current White House administration.

His last on-camera appearance came in 2023, when the former WWE Champion announced the qualifier candidates for the Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline.
