Tom Pestock known as Baron Corbin in WWE and now Bishop Dyer in MLW and on the independent scene, took to social media denying recent reports he is returning to WWE.
“Had to correct my horrible grammar. I accepted 8 shows in Europe. My eye is still swollen from Australia. I also didn’t know i was done with some of these companies. Who ever is making my schedule needs to let me know this sh–. I thought it was me but apparently it’s not,” Pestock wrote.
Fightful Select reported on Wednesday that Pestock is currently finishing up his commitments elsewhere, ahead of a return to WWE.
“Baron Corbin has finished up obligations with some companies that he had been working with regularly, including MLW. He is believed to be either signed by WWE or will be imminently, according to those that were spoken to”, Fightful Select wrote.
Pestock was with WWE for 12 years before his the company announced in November 2024 They were not renewing his contract. He is 2019 WWE King of the Ring Winner, a 2017 WWE Money in the Bank Ladder Match winner and a former WWE US Champion.
After leaving WWE, Pestock has been active on the independent circuit under the name Bishop Dyer. At MLW Summer of the Beasts back on June 26, 2025, Dyer and Donovan Dijak, known as The Skyscrapers, defeated Los Depredadores to win the MLW World Tag Team Championships for the first time.
Back on the January 21, 2026 AEW, Pestock also wrestled in an 8-Man Tag Team dark match for AEW before Dynamite went live on the air.
