Indie wrestler asks for help after car fire destroys his merch, causes him to miss extra work for AEW

Independent wrestler Joseph Alexander, better known as A-Game, has taken to social media asking for help after escaping a car fire in Virginia this past Tuesday.

Alexander said the fire destroyed most of his merchandise – 8x10s, cards, stickers and t-shirts. He also added the fire has caused him to miss extra the work he had planned to do for AEW this weekend, as well as other commitments.

“Hi guys…. I’ve honestly never ever had to do this so please be easy on me. It’s a long read. On Tuesday this week I was driving up north for some shows and extra work for AEW which I was very excited about. I took my dad’s car up and in the middle of Virginia I heard a sound and then saw smoke and immediately after the car caught fire while i was still inside. Thankfully I was able to pull off and get out without any harm done.

This was a very traumatic experience that I was not going to share. However when I got home yesterday and saw all the damages I seen mainly all my merch was destroyed, 8x10s, cards, stickers and most of my shirts As you know this stuff is very expensive and I just genuinely do not have all the funds to just whip up a new set of shirts and merch instantly.

However I have about 6 shirts left (select sizes) completely untouched and I washed them to rid of the smell of smoke. I’d love to send them out to whoever wants them. Below I’ll leave my cashapp for any donations which would be greatly appreciated you don’t understand.

First and foremost I want to thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ for making sure I was safe unharmed and walked away alive. I hope there’s more opportunities to come with AEW and the other shows I would have done this weekend, but I am just grateful for my health. Again if you want a shirt please DM me, any donations again are greatly appreciated. Thank you! – Joseph”
