Current AEW World Champion Darby Allin is getting married next month.
During a recent interview on Q104.3 in New York, ahead of Sunday’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view, Allin revealed that he will be getting married on Saturday, June 27 in his hometown of Seattle, the day before the Forbidden Door PPV in San Jose, California.
Allin also noted during the interview that he and his fiancé’ have known each other since meeting meeting on the bus during high school and got reconnected year later via social media, when she saw him doing his crazy stunts, thus reaching out to catch up on life. He said he proposed to her while on the top of Mt. Everest.
How did they spend one of their first dates? Well, Allin said they went bungee jumping and afterwards his fiancé’ revealed to him she was a victim of a gunshot wound from her then-boyfriend, with the bullet going through him and catching her in the head. She was taken to a trauma center and later became an ICU nurse.

Allin is set to defend the AEW World Championship against MJF in a title vs. Hair match at Sunday’s Double or Nothing, which takes place from the sold-out Louis Armstrong Arena in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park, New York City.
