AEW star returns from injury, makes surprise appearance at Sunday’s NJPW Dominion

Gabe Kidd returned from injury on Sunday at NJPW’s Dominion event, attacking Shota Umino after he won the IWGP Global Championship in a three-way match involving Drilla Moloney and Andrade El Idolo, who was the champ going into the match.

Kidd cut an obscenity-laced promo, telling Umino that he was never a member of the Death Riders and would take the IWGP Global Championship from him when he was ready.

Kidd dropped the f-bomb on both WWE and NJPW. Kidd then said he was in AEW where the best wrestle. He then spit at Hiroshi Tanahashi, who was doing commentary at ringside and also on the NJPW lion mark before making his exit to the backstage area.

Kidd injured his shoulder at the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view back on April 12 during a match with The Dogs challenging for the World Trios Championships.
