AEW Dynamite will premiere its first ever episode live tonight from the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
This show will air head-to-head with WWE NXT, the beginning of the so-called “Wednesday Night War.”
Tonight’s show will feature many big matches. The AEW Women’s Championship will have the inaugural champion crowned in a match with Nyla Rose and Riho. The Elite, which consists of The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, will also be taking on AEW World Champion Chris Jericho and two mystery partners.
Also advertised for tonight is Cody taking on Sammy Guevara. If Cody loses this match, he will lose his opportunity to face Chris Jericho for the AEW World Title at AEW Full Gear on November 9. MJF will also be in action against Brandon Cutler, and PAC will be taking on Hangman Page. Jon Moxley is also slated to make an appearance, his first appearance since having his match against Kenny Omega at AEW All Out canceled due to a MRSA infection in his elbow.
