AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT Ratings: Viewership up for both shows, AEW wins the night

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for February 19, 2020 are now in.

AEW Dynamite, going head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 893,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.

This is up from last week’s show that drew an average of 817,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 5 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, up from No. 10 where they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 794,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

This is up from last week’s show that averaged 757,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 16 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, up from No. 21 where they placed last week.

In overall viewership, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT in the eighth head-to-head battle of 2020 in the “Wednesday Night War” by 99,000 viewers. AEW has not lost yet in 2020.

Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT

WWE NXT, headlined by Roderick Strong vs. Velveteen Dream, averaged a 0.25 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from last week’s 0.24 rating.

AEW Dynamite, headlined by Cody vs. Wardlow in a Cage Match, averaged a 0.31 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from last week’s 0.30 rating.
