On tonight’s episode of AEW Dark, the company revealed the first two matches in the 8-man tournament for the new TNT Championship.

Cody will face Shawn Spears in one match, while Darby Allin will battle Sammy Guevara. Both of these are rematches from previous AEW events. Cody defeated Spears at AEW All Out, while Allin defeated Guevara at AEW Revolution.

The other two matches in the tournament will be announced tomorrow night on AEW Dynamite. The tournament for the TNT Championship will begin on the April 8 edition of Dynamite and culminate at Double or Nothing.

We will have live coverage of AEW Dynamite tomorrow starting at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 Central.
