Rapid tests for COVID-19 given to all AEW talent and crew before entering Daily’s Place

COVID-19 tests for AEW crew

All Elite Wrestling is returning to broadcasting live wrestling shows starting with tonight’s Dynamite from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. As the COVID-19 pandemic is still on-going, safety measures are being taken for all talent and production crew entering the arena tonight.

According to IATSE 115, a labor union representing technicians, artisans, and craftspersons in the entertainment industry, all must take a COVID-19 Rapid Test before entering. After being allowed to enter, social distancing and mandatory mask covering must be adhered to. They posted the following to their Facebook page:

We reopened with AEW-All Elite Wrestling SAFELY at Daily’s Place Amphitheatre today. A COVID-19 Rapid Test was given to every stagehand, road crew, venue staff and talent before entering the venue. Portable wash stations, hand sanitizer stations, mandatory masks covering, social distancing (especially at breaks) at all times. We didn’t ask to be the first but we are and we are working to keep it SAFE!

We will have live coverage of AEW Dynamite tonight starting at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 Central.
