AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT Ratings: Viewership up for both shows, AEW wins the night

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for May 6, 2020 are now in.

AEW Dynamite, going head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 732,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.

This is up from last week’s show that drew an average of 693,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 12 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, up from No. 16 where they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 663,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

This is up from last week’s show that averaged 637,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 33 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, up from No. 51 where they placed last week.

In overall viewership, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT in the nineteenth head-to-head battle of 2020 in the “Wednesday Night War” by 69,000 viewers.

WWE NXT, headlined by an NXT Championship match, averaged a 0.18 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from the 0.16 rating they had last week.

AEW Dynamite, headlined by a Street Fight Tag Match, averaged a 0.28 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from the 0.27 rating they had last week.
