AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT Ratings: Viewership drops 10% for both shows, AEW wins

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for May 13, 2020 are now in.

AEW Dynamite, going head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 654,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.

This is down from last week’s show that drew an average of 732,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 15 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 12 where they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 604,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

This is down from last week’s show that averaged 663,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 46 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 33 where they placed last week.

In overall viewership, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT in the twentieth head-to-head battle of 2020 in the “Wednesday Night War” by 50,000 viewers. Overall viewership for both shows was down 10% this week.

Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT

WWE NXT, headlined by Matt Riddle vs. Timothy Thatcher, averaged a 0.15 rating among adults 18-49. This is down from the 0.18 rating they had last week.

AEW Dynamite, headlined by Brodie Lee vs. Christopher Daniels, averaged a 0.23 rating among adults 18-49. This is down from the 0.28 rating they had last week.
