Injuries following this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite have forced the company to make changes to the Double or Nothing card tonight.
After sustaining what appeared to be a knee injury on this past Wednesday’s Dynamite, Britt Baker has been replaced in her match against Kris Statlander with Penelope Ford. The injury happened when Hikaru Shida and Statlander slammed Nyla Rose onto Baker in the corner. Baker tried to get through a few more spots before being tended to by the ringside doctor.
An update on Baker will be given on the AEW Double or Nothing PPV.
Another injury coming out of Wednesday’s Dynamite show is Rey Fenix. Fenix was set to be part of the Casino Battle Royal, but he will be replaced by Joey Janela. One participant is still to be announced for the event.
AEW stated that Fenix is not expected to miss significant time. Fenix attempted to do a dive on Wednesday and landed hard on his back on the floor.
