AEW star Kris Statlander underwent surgery on Tuesday (see below) for her torn ACL.
Statlander tore her ACL during a tag team match on the June 10, 2020 episode of AEW Dynamite. The injury took place when she connected with a dive on Kip Sabian on the floor outside the ring. Statlander was tagging with AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida in the match taking on Nyla Rose and Penelope Ford.
Statlander’s last singles match took place on May 23, 2020 at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view when she defeated Penelope Ford.
