AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT Ratings: Viewership down for both, AEW maintains demo

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for October 21, 2020 are now in.

AEW Dynamite, going head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 753,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.

This is down from last week’s show that drew an average of 826,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 13 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, up from No. 15 where they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 644,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

This is down from last week’s show that averaged 651,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 56 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 51 where they placed last week.

In overall viewership, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT in the “Wednesday Night War” by 175,000 viewers.

Overall viewership for both shows was at 1.477 million average viewers, up from 1.392 million viewers that watched last week.

Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT

WWE NXT, headlined by an NXT Tag Title Match, averaged a 0.16 rating among adults 18-49. This is down from the 0.17 rating they had last week.

AEW Dynamite, featuring the first round of an AEW Title Tournament, averaged a 0.30 rating among adults 18-49. This is the same rating they had last week.
