AEW reportedly draws best ratings since October 2019, defeats NXT in viewers and demo

As of this report, Showbuzz Daily still has not posted the cable ratings for Wednesday’s episodes of AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT.

According to various media outlets, including F4WOnline, last night’s AEW Dynamite, going head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 913,000 viewers, and WWE NXT drew 658,000 viewers.

Last week’s AEW Dynamite drew 710,000 viewers and WWE NXT drew 712,000 viewers.

Dynamite did a 0.42 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, which is the best number Dynamite has done in that category since October 2019. There is no key demographic ratings available at this time for WWE NXT.

We reported earlier that AEW CEO and President Tony Khan revealed on Twitter AEW drew 543,000 viewers in the key 18-49 demographic, while WWE NXT drew 210,000 viewers in the same demographic.

If the official numbers are the same as to be reported by Showbuzz Daily, AEW Dynamite has defeated WWE NXT in overall viewership in the “Wednesday Night War” by 255,000 viewers.

If or when Showbuzz Daily releases the ratings, and the numbers are confirmed or different, we will bring you an updated report.
