AEW has announced on Twitter that Sting will speak with Tony Schiavone on this coming Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite next week.
It was previously announced that Sting would be speaking during Wednesday’s show.
Sting made a surprise appearance during this past Wednesday’s special “Winter is Coming” episode of Dynamite. This was Sting’s first appearance on TNT since his final match on the network in March 2001, when he wrestled Ric Flair on the final episode of WCW Nitro when WWE purchased WCW.
Sting’s contract with WWE ended sometime this year, and thus he became a free agent.
Sting has not wrestled since 2015 after suffering a neck injury in a match against Seth Rollins at the 2015 WWE Night of Champions PPV.
AEW Dynamite will air live this Wednesday, December 9 on TNT beginning at 8:00 pm ET.
