AEW and WWE NXT Ratings: Dynamite beats NXT despite airing 2 hours later

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT Ratings for January 13, 2021

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for December 23, 2020 are now in.

AEW Dynamite, despite airing 2 hours later due to the NBA game on TNT still defeated WWE NXT in the ratings. 

Dynamite drew an average of 775,000 viewers on Wednesday night.  This is down from last week’s show that drew an average of 806,000 viewers.

WWE NXT on USA, running unopposed, in its normal time slot drew an average of 698,000 viewers on Wednesday night.  This is down from last week’s show that drew an average of 766,000 viewers.  

AEW Dynamite airing at the special time of 10:00 pm ET came in at No. 5 for the night on cable in the key 18-49 demographics.  They placed at No. 3 last week. 

WWE NXT came in at No. 40 for the night on cable in the key 18-49 demographics.  This is down from No. 37 where they placed last week. 

In overall viewership, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT in this week’s unopposed “Wednesday Night War” by 70,000 viewers.

WWE NXT, featuring “A Very Gargano Christmas”, averaged a 0.19 rating among adults 18-49. This is the same rating they had last week.

AEW Dynamite, featuring a “Holiday Bash” themed show, averaged a 0.32 rating among adults 18-49. This is the same rating they had last week. 

AEW Dynamite will return next week to its regular time slot of 8:00 pm ET on TNT, opposite WWE NXT on the USA Network.
