AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT Ratings: Viewers up for AEW, down for NXT

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for March 17, 2021 are now in. 

AEW Dynamite, going head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 768,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by showbuzzdaily.com.

This is up from last week’s show that drew 743,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 6 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, which is down from the No. 4 spot they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 597,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

This is down from last week’s show that averaged 691,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 42 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, which is down from the No. 24 spot they placed at last week.

In overall viewership, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT in the “Wednesday Night War” by 171,000 viewers.

Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT

WWE NXT, which featured the return of Jordan Devlin, averaged a 0.13 rating among adults 18-49. This is down from the 0.18 rating they had last week. 

AEW Dynamite, which featured a Women’s Unsanctioned Light’s Out Match, averaged a 0.28 rating among adults 18-49. This is down from the 0.32 rating last week.
