Former WWE Superstar makes surprise debut at AEW Dynamite

Former WWE star Aleister Black made his AEW debut during tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Road Rager live from Miami, Florida.

During the opening match between Cody Rhodes and QT Marshall, the lights briefly went out before coming back on.

Below is taken from Josh Boutwell’s recap.

Arn Anderson is in the ring with Tony and the lights go out again. This time, though, they come back on and Tommy End (Aleister Black) is in the ring! He kicks Arn’s face off! Cody runs out and eats a kick from End! They are calling him “Malachi Black.”

According to PWInsider, when Black was moved to the main roster, WWE failed to update his contract from the standard 30 day non-compete NXT Superstars have, to the standard 90 day non-compete clause for main roster Superstars, thus making him clear to debut on Dynamite tonight.
