AEW's first-ever stadium show almost sold out

According to Dave Meltzer AEW’s first-ever stadium show, which will take place on live on Wednesday September 22, is almost sold out.

Tickets for the live show to be held at Arthur Ashe Stadium, which is a venue in Queens, New York used for tennis, went on sale Friday, July 16.

It is being said that over 15,000 tickets have been sold. The maximum capacity was initially set for 17,000 fans.

Melzer also noted on Twitter that this will be the largest crowd in AEW history, and will also be the largest non-WWE crowd for pro wrestling in the US since 1999.

This will be the first-ever pro wrestling show held at the venue. The venue also has a retractable roof.
