AEW Rampage Spoilers: Matches taped to air this Friday; Former TNA star appears

AEW Rampage spoilers

The following matches for this Friday’s Rampage were taped Wednesday night at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, NY.

CM Punk pinned Will Hobbs with the GTS in what was said to be a very good match.

Adam Cole and The Young Bucks defeated Jurassic Express.

Men of the Year defeated Chris Jericho & Jake Hager. Hager and Jericho went to attack Dan Lambert, but all the MMA fighters who have been showing up on Dynamite attacked and laid them out Jericho and Hager. Tony Khan ran out on stage but got laid out as well and tossed. It’s unclear if this segment will be part of the actual show that airs on Friday.

Santana & Ortiz and the Lucha Brothers defeated Butcher, Blade and Private Party. It was said this match was awesome. Orange Cassidy made a cameo and laid out Jack Evans.

Sammy Guevara and Fuego Del Sol were doing a promo with the signs, Miro came out and took out both of them.

Penelope Ford pinned Anna Jay after using brass knuckles. Tay Conti came to the ring to make the save. The Hardy Family then came out but Orange Cassidy, Kris Statlander and Dark Order ran them off. Evil Uno and Stu Grayson walked off from the rest of the Dark Order.

Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley defeated Lance Archer and Minoru Suzuki in a lights out no DQ no countdown match. This match featured a lot of weapons and physicality with everyone taking big bumps. At one point, Moxley’s arms were taped behind his back leaving him prone to take a massive beating from his opponents. Music hit and former ROH Champion Homicide came out and cut open the tape and made the save, setting up the finish.
