During a recent interview with Robbie Fox on the “My Mom’s Basement” podcast, AEW CEO and President Tony Khan confirmed Adam Page vs. Kenny Omega for the AEW World Title at Full Gear.
This year’s show will take place at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN on November 13.
“Last year [the AEW World Title Eliminator tournament] culminated in Kenny vs. Hangman, which is very fitting because now as we go into Full Gear this year, we’re back and now Kenny is the World champion and he’s facing Hangman.”

Page returned to AEW on last week’s Dynamite as the Mystery Joker in the Casino Ladder Match. He ended up winning the match, earning himself a future AEW Championship Match. Page had been written off AEW TV when he was brutally attacked by the Elite, so he could take time off for the birth of his child.
