Following Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan officially offered AR Fox a contract.
Fox and Top Flight were speaking with Lexi Nair in a backstage interview that posted to Twitter, when the reveal was made.
Fox said the following to Nair:
“It’s unbelievable to me. I don’t think I have the words to describe it. I grew up about ten minutes down the road and I had my mother in the crowd here for a moment I thought I might never reach. So, I’m just waiting to be alone so I can cry”.
Nair then followed up with letting Fox know, Khan officially offered him a contract:
“AR Fox, I do have to let you know, we’ve just gotten word from Tony Khan that you have been officially offered an AEW contract here.”
Fox teamed up with Top Flight on Dynamite to challenge Death Triangle for the AEW World Trios Championships, but came up short. Wednesday night was Fox’s seventh match with AEW. Fox’s previous six matches were all on Dark and Dark: Elevation.
Fox has also made appearances in Combat Zone Wrestling, Dragon Gate USA and Evolve.
