Former AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa was backstage at Wednesday’s Dynamite in San Antonio, Texas, where she resides. The word making the rounds this week is that Rosa would not be returning to action until after The New Year, possibly February or March. She is currently out of action dealing with back issues.
Jazz and Rodney Mack were also backstage at the Freeman Coliseum visiting friends.
After AEW Dynamite went off the air, Tony Khan came out to thank the fans for their support.
After AEW concluded the Rampage taping, the crowd was very much behind Billy Gunn, singing, “Scissor Me Daddy” which led to Gunn doing some mic work including the old DX “We’ve got 2 words for you” catch phrase. The crowd was hot and LOVED the post-show shenanigans.
The new Swerve Strickland faction – Mogul Affiliates includes Parker Bordeaux. The word is the angle will be that Bordeaux was bought from Ari Davari to Strickland’s employ. The other person who has not been identified as of this writing has been training under Jay Lethal.
