AEW Rampage SPOILERS: Matches taped to air this Friday night on TNT

AEW taped this Friday’s episode of Rampage at the 1STBank Center in Broomfield, CO on Wednesday night, after Dynamite went off the air.

Below are the spoilers for Rampage, courtesy of PWInsider.

The announcers for Rampage were Tony Schiavone, Paul Wight, Excalibur and Kip Sabian.

All-Atlantic Championship Match: Orange Cassidy defeated Trent by pinfall after Penelope Ford distracted Trent. The angle seems to be Kip Sabian orchestrating issues between the Best Friends.

Kip Sabian with Penelope Ford pinned an unannounced jobber with The Orange Punch, obviously to mock Cassidy.

Inside the ring, Tony Schiavone interviewed Jon Moxley.  He said that when he concussed Hangman Page, he slept like a baby because the BCC works harder and delivers better than anyone else, so they deserve to sleep like babies.  When the bell rings, they don’t care about the safety of the athletes.  He said Page can’t get cleared because he’s hurt but Moxley has been hurt for a decade and doesn’t care.  He challenged Hangman to face him in Los Angeles at the KIA Forum and tells him he’ll be waiting if Page can get cleared.

AEW TBS Champion Championship Match: Jade Cargill defeated Kiera Hogan with the Jaded to retain.  Red Velvet walked off without Jade and Layla Grey, so it looks like it appears she is done with the group.

Swerve Strickland defeated. Wheeler Yuta.  Swerve has Mogul Associates with him.  Yuta was alone.  Strickland got the pin after a low blow and his Driver finisher.

In between Dynamite and Rampage, The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn came out to do a rap and the “last scissor” of 2022.

After the taping ended, Jon Moxley came out and put over the Colorado fans.  He said they weren’t truly back until they got back to Colorado.  He asked the fans to come back and bring their friends with them and everyone in AEW will bust their ass for them.  He said he wanted to make this one of the home bases for AEW.  He said it just started snowing and asked everyone to get home safe and if anyone was drinking, to get an Uber or a sober driver to get them home.
