In a promo on Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite, Sting said showtime is almost over.
After Darby Allin’s win over Swerve Strickland, World Champion MJF hit the ring for a verbal exchange with Allin. After some back and forth between MJF and Allin, Sting’s music hit and he came to the ring to a huge ovation.
Sting immediately directed his attention to MJF and threw pom poms at MJF and even hitting him in the face with one. He told MJF he is more of a cheerleader for Allin, as he mentioned Ric Flair and “Surfer Sting.”
Sting ended his promo by saying showtime is coming to an end, but they showtime is just starting for Allin and bets be will be the World Champion soon.
Sting has said his AEW is set to expire later this summer.
