News from 5/10 AEW Dynamite: Former champions are back; A surprise turn

Miro is back in AEW.

After a long absence from AEW television, the former TNT Champion returned on the May 10 episode of Dynamite.

Renee Paquette tried to get a word with Miro, but he would not speak to her and instead went directly to Tony Khan’s office.

Miro last appeared on AEW television when he teamed with Sting and Darby Allin to defeat The House of Black at last September’s All Out PPV. There have been several reports that AEW has not had anything creatively for him since then.

Thunder Rosa has returned to AEW.

The former AEW Women’s Champion also returned on the May 10 episode of Dynamite, and made her way to Tony Khan’s office after speaking briefly with Renee Paquette.

Rosa relinquished the AEW Women’s Championship ahead of last September’s AEW All Out PPV due to a back injury. It is still not known what her status is for an in-ring return.

Back on the April 14 edition of Busted Open Radio, Rosa said she apologized to the AEW locker room and wanted to drop the title when she found out that she was was injured.

Don Callis turned on Kenny Omega.

Don Callis turned on Omega in the cage match on the May 10 episode of Dynamite, by stabbing him with the screw driver as Omega was about to get the win over Jon Moxley. Omega ended up being pinned by Moxley.

After the match, Callis had teased hitting Omega again with the screw driver, but instead he tossed it down on the mat and then said something to Omega before he kissed him.

Lexy Nair was able to get a comment from Omega as he was being helped in the back by the Young Bucks.

Alex Marvez attempted to get a word from Don Callis backstage, but Callis by passed Marvez with “no comment” repeatedly as he sprinted to his vehicle.
