Mark Briscoe to serve as special guest referee for Tag Title Match at Double or Nothing

Mark Briscoe will serve as the special guest referee for the AEW World Tag Team Title Match at Double Or Nothing on Sunday, May 28 in Las Vegas, NV.

Briscoe made the announced on the May 10 episode of AEW Dynamite, during an in-ring segment consisting of FTR and Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh. Briscoe told everyone that he talked it over with Tony Khan and that Khan approved it.

After the announcement, Briscoe offered a beverage as a peace offering, handing cups to everyone in the ring before Dutt took a drink, but then spit it in the face of Dax Harwood it in the face of Dax! Chaos erupted in the ring as Cash Wheeler went after the group. Mark was sent in Harwood’s direction, leading him to accidentally hit a piledriver on Mark.
