AEW World Champion MJF made an appearance this past Saturday night where his professional wrestling career began.
MJF appeared at the Create A Pro Homecoming show, which took place at the All Sportz Melville Complex in Melville, New York. He also wrestled at the show, which was his first independent match in several years.
As “The Son of the Sun” Leo Sparrow was trash talking the fans in attendance after he won his match, he told the crowd he was a vegan and he was better than them and they knew it. MJF’s music then hit and the fans went crazy! As MJF came out with the AEW World Title around his waste, to the huge ovation, the fans began to chant “Welcome back” and “MJF”. MJF grabbed a mic and asked the crowd if they wanted to see him bash Sparrow’s vegan nuts? The crowd then went crazy again and started chanting “Bash his nuts!” This set then up an impromptu match between MJF and Sparrow.
During his promo, MJF did say he would not be where he is today without Brian Myers and Pat Buck. He also did gave a plug for AEW’s Double or Nothing PPV on Sunday, May 28.
