Jade Cargill again makes history in AEW

Jade Cargill has again made history in AEW.

AEW took to Twitter on Saturday, May 20 to announce that Cargill has reached 500 days as the TBS Champion. She is still the only woman to hold the championship.

AEW first introduced the TBS Championship during the January 5, 2022, when Dynamite moved from TNT to TBS. To date, Cargill successfully defended title 24 times and has a record of 59-0.

Cargill is scheduled to defend the TBS Championship against Taya Valkyrie at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view on Sunday, May 28 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. This will be Cargill’s second title defense against Valkyrie. Back on the April 26 episode of Dynamite, Cargill narrowly defeated Valkyrie to retain.
